ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION ACT, 2016

(ACT I OF 2016)

Commencement Notice

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 1(2) of the

Environment Protection Act, 2016, the Minister for Sustainable

Development, the Environment and Climate Change has established

the 31st January, 2016 as the date when the provisions of articles 1, 2,

6, 7, 9 to 30 and 35 to 38 of the said Act shall be deemed to have

come into force.
