Housing Authority (Transfer of Assets) (No. 5) Order, 2016

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 12 of the Housing

Authority Act, the President of Malta has made the following order:-

The title of this order is the Housing Authority (Transfer of

Assets) (No. 5) Order, 2016.

The property described in article 4 of this Order is hereby

specified for the purpose of article 12 of the Housing Authority Act.

The property specified in article 2 of this Order shall be

transferred and vest in the Housing Authority as provided in the

aforesaid article with effect from the 13th of October, 2016.

The property referred to in article 2 of this Order is the

following, that is to say

A block, known as Block A6 consisting of six flats,

of which one is being excluded from the transfer as it was

already transferred by a previous legal notice, in Triq Santa

Katerina, Attard. This block is bounded on the South-West by a

public open space, on the North-West by a public passage and

on the South-East by a public passage off Triq Santa Katerina.

Flat numbered 1 is registered with the Government as Tenement

bearing number 72734 and flats numbered 3 to 6 are registered

with the Government as Tenements bearing numbers 72736 to

72739. This block falls on Government property acquired by

Deed No. 261/77 dated 14th December 1977 in the acts of

Notary A. Grech and the whole block is shown edged in red and

marked “BLOCK A6” on plan P.D. 2016_0883 (HAA 84/2016)

Government property and on the North-West by Misraħ Gavino

Gulia. This block falls on Government property acquired by

President’s Declarations 384 and 387 dated 28th March 2012

and by President’s Declaration 63 dated 23rd January 2012 and

part of the property falls on land formerly part of a public road.

of five flats of which one is being excluded from the transfer as

it was already transferred by a previous legal notice, and

excluding the subsoil in Misraħ l-4 ta’ Settembru and 18, Triq

San Giljan, Isla. This block is bounded on the North-West in

part by Misraħ l-4 ta’ Settembru and in part by Government

property, on the North-East by Triq iż-Żewġ Mini and on the

South-East by Triq San Ġiljan. Flats numbered 1, 2, 3 and 4 are

registered with the Government as Tenements bearing numbers

63221A, 63222A, 63223A and 63224 respectively and 18, Triq

San Ġiljan, Isla is registered with the Government as Tenement

bearing number 63242. This block falls on Government

property acquired by President’s Declaration No. 983 dated 11th

November 2006 and the whole block is shown edged in red on

A block, known as Block 6, Entrance 11 consisting

of five flats in Misraħ l-4 ta’ Settembru and 17, Triq il-

Kunċizzjoni, Isla. This block is bounded on the South-West in

part by Misraħ l-4 ta’ Settembru and in part by Government

property, on the North-East by Triq iż-Żewġ Mini and on the

North West by Triq il-Kunċizzjoni. Flats numbered 1 to 5 are

registered with the Government as Tenements bearing numbers

63230 to 63234 and 17, Triq il-Kunċizzjoni, Isla is registered

with the Government as Tenement bearing number 63241. This

block falls on Government property acquired by President’s

Declaration No. 983 dated 11th November 2006 and the whole

block is shown edged in red on plan P.D. 2016_0877_2 (HAA

(10) A block, known as Block 6, Entrance 13 consisting

of two flats registered with the Government as Tenements

bearing numbers 63236 and 63237 respectively in Misraħ l-4 ta’

Settembru, Isla. This block is bounded on the South-East by

Misraħ l-4 ta’ Settembru, on the North-East by Government

property and on the North-West by Triq il-Kunċizzjoni. This

Declaration No. 983 dated 11th November 2006 and the whole

(11) A block, known as Block A3 consisting of six flats

and one site, of which four are being excluded from the transfer

as they were already transferred by a previous legal notice, in

Triq Vincenzo Ciappara, Mellieħa. This block is bounded on the

South-West by Triq Vincenzo Ciappara and on the North-West

and on the North-East by a public open space. Flats numbered 4

and 6 are registered with the Government as Tenements bearing

numbers 69280 and 69282 respectively and the site is registered

with the Government as Tenement bearing number 96095. This

block falls on Government property formerly part of Tenement

No. 50222 portion 14 and the whole block is shown edged in red

and marked “BLOCK A3” on plan P.D. 2016_0842 (HAA 77/

2016).

(12) A block, known as Block B2 consisting of seven

flats, of which two are being excluded from the transfer as they

were already transferred by a previous legal notice, in Triq

Vincenzo Ciappara, Mellieħa. This block is bounded on the

North-West and on the North-East by a public passage and on

the South-West by Triq Vincenzo Ciappara. Flat numbered 1A

is registered with the Government as Tenement bearing number

70109, flats numbered 1 and 2 are registered with the

Government as Tenements bearing numbers 70110 and 70111

respectively and flats numbered 4 and 5 are registered with the

Government as Tenements bearing numbers 70113 and 70114

respectively. This block falls on Government property formerly

part of Tenement No. 50222 portion 5 and the whole block is

(13) A block, known as Block A2 consisting of six flats,

of which three are being excluded from the transfer as they were

already transferred by a previous legal notice, in Triq il-Gzari,

Mosta. This block is bounded on the East by Triq il-Gzari, on

the North by Triq it-Trinċetta and on the South by a public open

space. Flats numbered 2, 4 and 6 are registered with the

Government as Tenements bearing numbers 70771, 70773 and

70775 respectively. This block falls on Government property

acquired by Deed No. 6/75 dated 15th January 1975 in the acts

of Notary A. Grech and the whole block is shown edged in red

and marked “BLOCK A2” on plan P.D. 2016_0933 (HAA 52/

2013).

A block, known as Block A1 Entrance B consisting

of six flats, of which four are being excluded from the transfer

as they were already transferred by a previous legal notice, in

Triq id-Dawr, Mosta. This block is bounded on the West by Triq

id-Dawr, on the North-West by Government property and on the

South by Triq l-Istiratur. Flats numbered 1 and 3 are registered

with the Government as Tenements bearing numbers 70764 and

70766 respectively. This block falls on Government property

acquired by Deed No. 91/75 dated 26th March 1975 in the acts

of Notary A. Grech and on Government property registered as

part of Tenement No. 84038 and the whole block is shown

edged in red and marked “BLOCK A1” on plan P.D. 2016_0946

(HAA 238/2012).

(15) A block, known as Block C3 consisting of six flats,

of which two are being excluded from the transfer as they were

already transferred by a previous legal notice, in Triq il-

Gradiljoli, Mosta. This block is bounded on the East by Triq il-

Gradiljoli, on the North by Triq l-Istiratur and on the South by a

public passage. Flats numbered 2 to 5 are registered with the

Government as Tenements bearing numbers 72392 to 72395.

This block falls on Government property acquired by Deed No.

7/75 dated 15th January 1975 in the acts of Notary A. Grech and

the whole block is shown edged in red and marked “BLOCK

C3” on plan P.D. 2016_0996 (HAA 87/2016).

(16) A block, known as Block C4 consisting of six flats,

of which one is being excluded from the transfer as it was

already transferred by a previous legal notice, in Triq il-Planeċ,

Mosta. This block is bounded on the East by Triq il-Planeċ, on

the South by Triq id-Dawr and on the North by a public passage.

Flats numbered 1 and 2 are registered with the Government as

Tenements bearing numbers 72397 and 72398 respectively and

flats numbered 4 to 6 are registered with the Government as

Tenements bearing numbers 72400 to 72402. This block falls on

Government property acquired by Deed No. 7/75 dated 15th

January 1975 in the acts of Notary A. Grech and the whole

(17) A block, known as Block C5 consisting of six flats,

of which three are being excluded from the transfer as they were

Gradiljoli, Mosta. This block is bounded on the East by Triq il-

Gradiljoli, on the South by Triq id-Dawr and on the North by a

public passage. Flat numbered 3 is registered with the

Government as Tenement bearing number 72405 and flats

numbered 5 and 6 are registered with the Government as

Tenements bearing numbers 72407 and 72408 respectively. This

block falls on Government property acquired by Deed No. 7/75

dated 15th January 1975 in the acts of Notary A. Grech and the

(19) A block, known as Block A Unit 1 consisting of six

flats and one room, of which two are being excluded from the

transfer as they were already transferred by a previous legal

notice, in Triq is-Sorijiet, Raħal Ġdid. This block is bounded on

the South-West by Government property, on the North-East by

Triq il-Knisja and on the North-West by Triq is-Sorijiet. Flats

numbered 1 and 2 are registered with the Government as

Tenements bearing numbers 62170 and 62171 respectively, flats

numbered 4 and 5 are registered with the Government as

Tenements bearing numbers 62173 and 62174 and the room is

registered with the Government as Tenement Nru. E20713. This

block falls on Government property formerly part of Tenement

(24) A block, known as Block F Unit 1 in Triq Ġużè

D’Amato, Raħal Ġdid, consisting of six flats registered with the

This block is bounded on the South-East and on the North-West

by a public passage and on the South-West by Triq Ġużè

D’Amato. This block falls on Government property formerly

(25) A block, known as Block I Unit 1 in Triq Ġużè

This block is bounded on the South-East by Triq it-Tempji

Neolitiċi, on the North-West by a public passage and on the

North and on the North-East by Government property and on

the West by Triq Salvatore Mallia. Flats numbered 1 to 5 are

registered with the Government as Tenements bearing numbers

consisting of eight flats, of which one is being excluded from

bounded on the West by Triq Salvatore Mallia, on the South by

Government property and on the North-West by Triq Dun Anton

Vella. Flats numbered 1 to 4 are registered with the Government

property of the Housing Authority or its successors in title and

on the North-West by Triq Dun Anton Vella. Flats numbered 1

and 2 are registered with the Government as Tenements bearing

Government property and on the West in part by Triq tax-Xewk

South-East by a public passage off Triq Ħal Luqa, on the North-

East by Government property and on the North-West by Triq

tax-Xewk. Flats numbered 2 and 4 are registered with the

Government as Tenements bearing numbers 64674 and 64676

respectively, flats numbered 6 to 8 are registered with the

Government as Tenements 64678 to 64680. This block falls on

successors in title, on the North-East by an open space

accessible from Triq San Duminku and on the South-East by

Triq il-Mediterran. Flats numbered 2, 6, 8 and 13 are registered

63017, 63019 and 63024 respectively, flats numbered 10 and 11

fourteen flats, of which six are being excluded from the transfer

as they were already transferred by a previous legal notice, and

underlying garages in Triq San Kristofru, Valletta. This block is

bounded on the South-East by property of the Housing

Authority or its successors in title, on the North-East by an open

space accessible from San Duminku and on the South-West by

Triq San Kristofru. Flats numbered 1 to 4 are registered with the

Government as Tenements bearing numbers 62984 to 62987,

flats numbered 6 and 10 are registered with the Government as

Tenements bearing numbers 62989 and 62993 respectively and

flats numbered 13 and 14 are registered with the Government as

Tenements bearing numbers X51801 and X51802 respectively.

This block falls on Government property leased for over 30

years and the whole block is shown edged in red and marked
