(CAP. 545)

Sale of Electricity generated from Cogeneration Units

Regulations (Amendment) Regulations, 2016

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 37(1) of the

Regulator for Energy and Water Services Act, the Prime Minister,

after consultation with the Regulator for Energy and Water Services,

has made the following regulations:-

The title of these regulations is the Sale of Electricity

generated from Cogeneration Units Regulations (Amendment)

Regulations, 2016, and these regulations shall be read and construed

as one with the Sale of Electricity generated from Cogeneration Units

Regulations, hereinafter referred to as "the principal regulations".

In the Second Schedule to the principal regulations, the for

words "The marginal cost per kWh for the year 2015 shall be of ten

cents and five mils (€0.10,5) per kWh." there shall be substituted the

words "The marginal cost per kWh for the year 2016 shall be of eight

cents and nine mils (€0.08,9) per kWh.".
