BY VIRTUE of the powers conferred by article 61 of the
9
Environment and Development Planning Act, the Minister for
10
Sustainable Development, the Environment and Climate Change has
11
made the following regulations:-
Reg. 1 Citation. — 320 tal-2016 - Regolamenti tal-2016 li jemendaw ir-Regolamenti dwar Qafas biex tiġi permessa Deroga li Tiftaħ l-Istaġun fil-Ħarifa għall-Insib tal-Malvizz u l-Pluviera

The title of these regulations is the Conservation of Wild

Birds (Framework for Allowing a Derogation Opening an Autumn
3
Live-Capturing Season for Song Thrush and Golden Plover)
4
(Amendment) Regulations, 2016, and these regulations shall be read
5
and construed as one with the Conservation of Wild Birds
6
(Framework for Allowing a Derogation Opening an Autumn Live-
7
Capturing Season for Song Thrush and Golden Plover Regulations)
8
hereinafter referred to as the "principal regulations".
Reg. 2 Amends the principal regulations in a general manner. — 320 tal-2016 - Regolamenti tal-2016 li jemendaw ir-Regolamenti dwar Qafas biex tiġi permessa Deroga li Tiftaħ l-Istaġun fil-Ħarifa għall-Insib tal-Malvizz u l-Pluviera

In the principal regulations, for the words "carnet de

chasse", wherever they occur, there shall be substituted the words
3
"general licence to take birds".
Reg. 3 Amends regulation 7 of the principal regulations. — 320 tal-2016 - Regolamenti tal-2016 li jemendaw ir-Regolamenti dwar Qafas biex tiġi permessa Deroga li Tiftaħ l-Istaġun fil-Ħarifa għall-Insib tal-Malvizz u l-Pluviera

Paragraph (m) of regulation 7 of the principal regulations
2
shall be substituted by the following
3
"(m) require the licensee, as soon as a bird from the
4
relevant species is live-captured, to report such catch on the
5
number indicated by the Wild Birds Regulation Unit for that
6
purpose;".
