Housing Authority (Transfer of Assets) (No. 3) Order, 2016

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 12 of the Housing

Authority Act, the President of Malta has made the following order:-

The title of this order is the Housing Authority (Transfer of Citation.

Assets) (No. 3) Order, 2016.

The property described in article 4 of this Order is hereby Specified

specified for the purpose of article 12 of the Housing Authority Act. property.

The property specified in article 2 of this Order shall be Appointed day.

aforesaid article with effect from the 5th of July, 2016.

of which seven are being excluded from the transfer as they

were already transferred by a previous legal notice, in Triq il-

Fosos, Furjana. This block is bounded on the North-East by a

public passage off Triq il-Fosos, on the North-West by a public

passage and on the South-West by a public open space. Flats

numbered 6 and 8 are registered with the Government as

Tenements bearing numbers 67981 and 67983 respectively. This

block falls on Government property formerly part of ex-

Services Tenements bearing numbers 16332 and 16526 and the

whole block is shown edged in red and marked “BLOCK 5” on

of which one is being excluded from the transfer as it was

Xemxija, Marsa. This block is bounded on the South-East by

Triq ix-Xemxija, on the South-West by Triq Nerik Sacco and on

the North-West by a public open space. Flats numbered 1 and 2

are registered with the Government as Tenements bearing

numbers 71310 and 71311 respectively. This block falls on

Government property acquired by Deed No. 192/84 dated 7th

March 1984 in the acts of Notary F. Portelli and the whole block

is shown edged in red on plan P.D. No. 231_81_26. (HAA 43/

A block, known as Block K, consisting of six flats

of which two are being excluded from the transfer as they were

already transferred by a previous legal notice, in Triq ix-

Xemxija, Marsa. This block is bounded on the North-East and

on the South-West by property of the Housing Authority or its

successors in title and on the South-East by Triq ix-Xemxija.

Flats numbered 1 and 2 are registered with the Government as

Tenements bearing numbers 71313 and 71314 respectively and

flats numbered 5 and 6 are registered with the Government as

Tenements bearing numbers 71317 and 71318 respectively. This

block falls on Government property acquired by Deed No. 192/

84 dated 7th March 1984 in the acts of Notary F. Portelli and the

whole block is shown edged in red on plan P.D. No. 231_81_27.

A block, known as Block M, consisting of three

flats numbered 1, 3 and 5 which are registered with the

Goverment as Tenements bearing numbers 71304, 71306 and

71308 respectively, in Triq Azzopardi, Marsa. This block is

bounded on the South-West by Triq San Franġisk, on the North-

West by Triq Azzopardi and on the South-East by property of

the Housing Authority or its successors in title. This block falls

on Government property acquired by Deed No. 119/79 dated 6th

June 1979 in the acts of Notary A. Grech and the whole block is

shown edged in red and marked “Block M” on plan P.D. No.

231_81_22. (HAA 41/2016).

(10) A backyard in Block N, Triq ix-Xemxija, Marsa

and this block is bounded on the South-East and on the North-

West by property of the Housing Authority or its successors in

title and on the South-West in part by property of the Housing

Authority or its successors in title and in part by Government

property. This block falls on Government property acquired by

Deed No. 119/79 dated 6th June 1979 in the acts of Notary A.

Grech and by Deed No. 192/84 dated 7th March 1984 in the acts

of Notary F. Portelli and the whole block is shown edged in red

on plan P.D. No. 231_81_20_1. (HAA 46/2015).

(11) A block, known as Block Q, consisting of

consisting of six flats of which one is being excluded from the

transfer as it was already transferred by a previous legal notice,

in Triq ix-Xemxija, Marsa. This block is bounded on the North-

West and on the North-East by property of the Housing

Authority or its successors in title and on the South-East by Triq

ix-Xemxija. Flat numbered 1 is registered with the Government

as Tenement No. 71320 and flats numbered 3 to 6 are registered

with the Government as Tenements bearing numbers 71322 to

71325. This block falls on Government property acquired by

Deed No. 192/84 dated 7th March 1984 in the acts of Notary F.

Portelli and by Deed No. 119/79 dated 6th June 1979 in the acts

of Notary A. Grech and the whole block is shown edged in red

and marked “Block Q” on plan P.D. No. 231_81_24. (HAA 73/

2013).

(12) A block, known as Block S, consisting of six flats

registered with the Government as Tenements bearing numbers

71534 to 71539, in Triq Azzopardi, Marsa. This block is

bounded on the South-West by a public open space, on the

North-West by Triq Azzopardi and on the North-East by

Government property and falls on Government property

acquired by Deed No. 192/84 dated 7th March, 1984 in the acts

of Notary F. Portelli. The whole block is shown edged in red and

marked “Block S” on plan P.D. No. 231_81_21. (HAA 74/

2013).

(13) A block, known as Block T, consisting of six flats

of which one is being excluded from the transfer as it was

already transferred by a previous legal notice, in Triq ix-

Xemxija, Marsa. This block is bounded on the North-West by

Triq Azzopardi, on the South-West by Government property and

on the North-East by property of the Housing Authority or its

successors in title. Flats numbered 2 to 6 are registered with the

Government as Tenements bearing numbers 72229 to 72233.

This block falls on Government property acquired by Deed No.

192/84 dated 7th March 1984 in the acts of Notary F. Portelli

and the whole block is shown edged in red and marked “Block

T” on plan P.D. No. 231_81_23. (HAA 42/2016).

(14) A plot of land, known as Plot 32 in Triq il-Mitħna il-Ġdida,

Ta’ Pennellu, Mellieħa, having an area of approximately 199.75

square metres, and is bounded on the North-East by Triq il-Mitħna l-

Ġdida, on the South-West by Government property and on the South-

East by property transferred to the Housing Authority. The plot is

subject to a temporary emphyteusis as per Deed No. 198/69 dated 3rd

July 1969 in the acts of Notary A. Grech. This plot falls on part of

Government property formerly registered as Tenement No. 50222

portion 6 and is registered in the Estate Management Department

records as Tenement No. 65351 and is shown edged in red and

marked “P. 32” on plan L.D. 383/91/6. (HAP 1/2016).

(15) A plot of land, known as Plot 94 in Triq il-Mitħna il-Ġdida,

Ta’ Pennellu, Mellieħa, having an area of approximately 228 square

metres, and is bounded on the North-West by property transferred to

the Housing Authority, on the South-West by Triq Vincenzo Ciappara

and on the South-East by Triq Napuljun Caruana Dingli. The plot is

subject to a temporary emphyteusis as per Deed No. 188 dated 14th

May 1971 in the acts of Notary A.Grech. This plot falls on part of

Government property formerly registered as Tenement No. 50222

portion 5 and is registered in the Estate Management Department

records as Tenement No. 65842 and is shown edged in red and

marked “P. 94” on plan L.D. 383/91/9. (HAP 4/2015).

(16) House numbered 26 (Now 31) and House numbered 36

(Now 19), Triq Antonio Chircop, Qrendi (Tenement No. 69533 and

Tenement No. 71294 - HAA 2/2016).

(17) A block, known as Block A, consisting of twenty flats of

which one is being excluded from the transfer as it was already

transferred by a previous legal notice, in Misraħ il-Ħawħ, San

Ġwann. This block is bounded on the West by a public passage, on

the South by Misraħ il-Ħawħ and on the North by Government

property. Flats numbered 1 to 16 are registered with the Government

as Tenements bearing numbers 66871 to 66886 and flats numbered

19, 21 and 23 are registered with the Government as Tenements

bearing numbers 66889, 66891 and 66893 respectively. This block

falls on Government property acquired by Deed No. 422 dated 11th

December, 1974 in the acts of Notary A. Grech and the whole block is

shown edged in red and marked “Block A” on plan P.D. No.

2016_0611. (HAA 81/2015, HAA14/2016, HAA15/2016).

(18) A block, known as Block E, Entrance A, consisting of

eight flats and two garages of which the two garages are being

excluded from the transfer as they were already transferred by a

previous legal notice, in Binja Indipendenza, Triq il-Qalbiena, San

Ġwann. Flats numbered 1 to 8 are registered with the Government as

Tenements bearing numbers 76736 to 76743. This block falls on

Government property acquired by the Building Development Area

Act, 1983 (Act I of 1983) and the whole block is shown edged in red

and marked “Block E” on plan P.D. No. 2016_0733. (HAA 53/2016).

(19) A block, known as Block 16, consisting of twelve flats and

one site of which three are being excluded from the transfer as they

were already transferred by a previous legal notice, in Triq l-Ispika

and Triq l-Iskola, San Ġwann. This block is bounded on the North-

East by Triq l-Ispika, on the South-West by Triq l-Iskola and on the

South-East by Triq il-Ġilju. Flats numbered 1 to 6, Entrance A are

registered with the Government as Tenements bearing numbers 73388

to 73393, flats numbered 9 and 10, Entrance B are registered with the

Government as Tenements bearing numbers 73395 and 73396

respectively, flat numbered 12 is registered with the Government as

Tenement No. 73398 and the site is registered with the Government

as Tenement No. 78776. This block falls on Government property

formerly part of Tenement No. 51328 and the whole block is shown

edged in red and marked “Block 16” on plan P.D. No. 2016_0649.

(23) A plot of land, known as Plot 17 in Vjal l-Oleandri, Santa

Luċija, having an area of approximately 157 square metres, bounded

on the North-West by Government property, on the North-East by

Triq l-Oleandri and on the South-East by private property. The plot is

subject to a temporary emphyteusis as per Deed No. 152/63 dated

28th June 1963 in the acts of Notary A. Attard. This plot falls on part

of Government property formerly acquired by Deed No. 388/59 dated

21st November 1959 in the acts of Notary F. Attard and is registered

in the Estate Management Department records as Tenement No.

64618 and is shown edged in red on plan L.D. 11/82/72. (HAP 5/

(26) A plot of land, known as Plot 22 in Triq il-Luq, Żabbar,

having an area of approximately 140.50 square metres, bounded on

the South and on the North by Government property and on the East

by Triq il-Luq. The plot is subject to a perpetual emphyteusis as per

Deed No. 25/82 dated 27th January 1982. This plot falls on

Government property p/o 50785 port. 15 and is registered in the

Estate Management Department records as Tenement No. 41608 and

is shown edged in red and marked “P. 22” on plan L.D. 37/81/41.
