Assistance to Small and Medium-Sized Undertakings

(Amendment) Regulations, 2016

IN exercise of the powers conferred upon him by article 5 of the

Malta Enterprise Act, the Minister for the Economy, Investment and

Small Business, in consultation with the Malta Enterprise

Corporation, and with the concurrence of the Minister for Finance,

has made the following regulations:-

(1) The title of these regulations is the Assistance to

Small and Medium-Sized Undertakings (Amendment) Regulations,

2016, and these regulations shall be read and construed as one with

the Assistance to Small and Medium-Sized Undertakings

Regulations, hereinafter referred to as "the principal regulations".

(2) These regulations shall be deemed to have come into force

on the 30th June, 2016.

In regulation 12 of the principal regulations, for the words

"applications for assistance under this regulation shall reach the

Corporation by not later than noon of the 30th June, 2016." there shall

be substituted the words "applications for assistance under this

regulation shall reach the Corporation by not later the 30th October,

2020.".
