Activities Requiring Permit by Local Councils

(Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations, 2016

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 34(2) of the

Local Councils Act, the Minister for Justice, Culture and Local

Government, and the Minister for Economy, Investment and Small

Businesses, acting in exercise of the powers conferred by article 16(1)

of the Trading Licences Act, have made the following regulations:-

The title of these regulations is the Activities Requiring

Permit by Local Councils (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations, 2016,

and these regulations shall be read and construed as one with the

Activities Requiring Permit by Local Councils Regulations,

hereinafter referred to as "the principal regulations".

Regulation 5 of the principal regulations shall be amended

as follows

(a)

in paragraph (b) of sub-regulation (2) thereof, for

the words "in Merchants Street," there shall be substituted the

words "in Ordnance Street,"; and

(b) in sub-paragraph (ii) of paragraph (b) of sub-

regulation (8) thereof, for the words "in Merchants Street" there

shall be substituted the words "in Ordnance Street".
