Housing Authority (Transfer of Assets) Order, 2016
IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 12 of the Housing
Authority Act, the President of Malta has made the following order:-
The title of this order is the Housing Authority (Transfer of Citation.
Assets) Order, 2016.
The property described in article 4 of this Order is hereby Specified
specified for the purpose of article 12 of the Housing Authority Act. property.
The property specified in article 2 of this Order shall be Appointed day.
transferred and vest in the Housing Authority as provided in the
aforesaid article with effect from the 13th of June, 2016.
The property referred to in article 2 of this Order is the Description of
specified
following, that is to say
property.
(1)
Two blocks, known as Block H and Block I in Ħal
Farruġ Housing Estate, Luqa and are bounded on the North-East
and on the South-West by public passages and on the North-
West by Triq in-Noqor. These blocks fall on Government
property formerly part of ex-Services Tenement No. 16561 and
are shown edged in red on plan P.D. 2016_0038, as follows
(a) Block H consists of sixteen flats of which two
are being excluded from the transfer as they were already
transferred by a previous legal notice. Flats numbered 2 to
8 Entrance A are registered with the Government as
Tenements bearing numbers 78292 to 78298, flats
numbered 1 to 4 Entrance B are registered with the
Government as Tenements numbered 78299 to 78302 and
flats numbered 6 to 8 Entrance B are registered with the
Government as Tenements bearing numbers 78304 to
78306; and
(b) Block I consists of sixteen flats of which two
are being excluded from the transfer as they were already
transferred by a previous legal notice. Flats numbered 1 to
4 Entrance A are registered with the Government as
Tenements bearing numbers 78307 to 78310, flats
numbered 6 to 8 Entrance A are registered with the
Government as Tenements bearing numbers 78312 to
78314, flats numbered 1 to 4 Entrance B are registered
with the Government as Tenements bearing numbers
78315 to 78318 and flats numbered 6 to 8 Entrance B are
registered with the Government as Tenements bearing
numbers 78320 to 78322. (HAA 121/2015, HAA 104/

A block, known as Block L, consisting of six flats
of which one is being excluded from the transfer as it was
already transferred by a previous legal notice, in Triq ix-
Xemxija, Marsa. This block is bounded on the North-West and
on the South-West by Government property and on the South-
East by Triq ix-Xemxija. Flats numbered 2 to 6 are registered
with the Government as Tenements bearing numbers 71517 to
71521. This block falls on Government property acquired by
Deed No. 41/80 dated 19th March 1980 in the acts of Notary A.
Grech and the whole block is edged in red and marked “Block
L” on plan P.D. 2013_639_1. (HAA 13/2013).

Two blocks, known as Block A and Block B, Civic
Centre, consisting of twelve flats of which one is being
excluded from the transfer as it was already transferred by a
previous legal notice, in Triq l-Arkata, Raħal Ġdid. These
blocks are bounded on the South-East by a public open space,
on the South-West by Triq il-Foss and on the North-East by Triq
l-Arkata. Flats numbered 1 to 6 Entrance A are registered with
the Government as Tenements bearing numbers 72116 to 72121,
flats numbered 7 and 8 Entrance B are registered with the
Government as Tenements bearing numbers 72122 and 72123
respectively and flats numbered 10 to 12 Entrance B are
registered with the Government as Tenements 72125 to 72127.
These blocks fall on Government property formerly part of
Tenements bearing numbers 50702 and 50707 and are shown
edged in red on plan P.D. 2016_0024. (HAA 144/2014, HAA
96/2015).

A block, known as Block 13, consisting of sixteen
flats of which three are being excluded from the transfer as they
were already transferred by a previous legal notice, in Misraħ
Ċentawrja and Triq il-Kampanella, San Ġwann. This block is
bounded on the North-West by Triq il-Kampanella, on the
North-East by Triq l-Istefanotis and on the South-East by
Misraħ Ċentawrja. Flats numbered 1 to 3 Entrance A are
registered with the Government as Tenements bearing numbers
71392 to 71394, flat numbered 5 Entrance A is registered with
the Government as Tenement numbered 71396, flats numbered
7 and 8 Entrance A are registered with the Government as
Tenements bearing numbers 71398 and 71399 respectively, flats
numbered 9 and 10 Entrance B are registered with the
Government as Tenements bearing numbers 71400 and 71401
respectively and flats numbered 12 to 16 are registered with the
Government as Tenements bearing numbers 71403 to 71407.
This block falls on Government property formerly part of
Tenement numbered 51328 and the whole block is shown edged
in red and marked “BLOCK 13” on plan P.D. 2016_0635. (HAA

A block, known as Block 6, Entrances A-C,
consisting of twenty-four flats of which five are being excluded
from the transfer as they were already transferred by a previous
legal notice, in Vjal in-Naspli, San Ġwann. This block is
bounded on the West by Vjal in-Naspli, on the East by Triq il-
Buganvilla and on the North by Vjal ir-Rihan. Flats numbered 1
to 8 Entrance A are registered with the Government as
Tenements bearing numbers 68669 to 68676, flats numbered 9,
11 and 13 Entrance B are registered with the Government as
Tenements bearing numbers 68677, 68679 and 68681
respectively and flats numbered 18 to 24 Entrance C are
registered with the Government as Tenements bearing numbers
68686 to 68692. This block falls on Government property
acquired by Deed No. 422 dated 11th December 1974 in the acts
of Notary A. Grech and the whole block is shown edged in red
and marked “BLOCK 6” on plan P.D. 2016_0605. (HAA 112/
2013, HAA 111/2013, HAA 47/2011).

A block, known as Block III, consisting of sixteen
flats of which five are being excluded from the transfer as they
were already transferred by a previous legal notice, in Triq il-
Mimosa, San Ġwann. This block is bounded on the North by
Triq il-Mimosa, on the West by a public passage and on the
South by Triq il-Bruka. Flats numbered 3 to 7 Entrance A are
registered with the Government as Tenements numbered 68946
to 68950, flats numbered 9 to 12 Entrance B are registered with
the Government as Tenements bearing numbers 68952 to 68955
and flats numbered 14 and 16 Entrance B are registered with the
Government as Tenements bearing numbers 68957 and 68959
respectively. This block falls on Government property acquired
by Deeds numbered 181/70 dated 27th June 1970, 21/81 dated
18th February 1981 and 23/81 dated 25th February 1981, all in
the acts of Notary A. Grech and the whole block is shown edged
in red and marked “Block ‘III’” on plan P.D. 2016_0633. (HAA
165/2012, HAA 16/2012).

A block, known as Block 18, consisting of twelve
flats of which four are being excluded from the transfer as they
were already transferred by a previous legal notice, in Triq il-
Fresja and Triq il-Ġilju, San Ġwann. This block is bounded on
the North-West by Triq il-Fresja, on the South-West by a public
passage and on the South-East by Triq il-Ġilju. Flats numbered
1 to 3 Entrance A are registered with the Government as
Tenements bearing numbers 73411 to 73413, flat numbered 5
Entrance A is registered with the Government as Tenement
numbered 73415, flat numbered 8 Entrance B is registered with
the Government as Tenement numbered 73418 and flats
numbered 10 to 12 Entrance B are registered with the
Government as Tenements bearing numbers 73420 to 73422.
This block falls on Government property formerly part of
Tenement numbered 51328 and the whole block is shown edged
in red and marked “BLOCK 18” on plan P.D. 2016_0600. (HAA
118/2015, HAA 119/2015).

A block, known as Binja Indipendenza, consisting
of twenty-five flats of which four are being excluded from the
transfer as they were already transferred by a previous legal
notice, in Triq Maria de Domenicis, Santa Luċija. This block is
bounded on the North-West by Triq Maria de Domenicis, on the
South-West by Triq M Strickland and on the South-East by Triq
id-Dawl. Flats numbered 1 and 3 are registered with the
Government as Tenements bearing numbers 76311 and 76313
respectively, flats numbered 5 to 9 are registered with the
Government as Tenements bearing numbers 76316 to 76319,
flats numbered 11 and 12 are registered with the Government as
Tenements bearing numbers 76321 and 76322 respectively and
flats numbered 14 to 26 are registered with the Government as
Tenements bearing numbers 76323 to 76335. Part of this block
falls on unregistered Government property and the remaining
part falls on land acquired by Deed No. 20-55/61 dated 18th
February 1961 in the acts of Notary H. Borg, by Deed No. 38/79
dated 15th March 1979 in the acts of Notary A. Attard and by
Deed No. 85/77 dated 16th August 1977 in the acts of Notary A.

A block, known as Block R, consisting of sixteen
flats of which seven are being excluded from the transfer as they
were already transferred by a previous legal notice, in Triq ic-
Ċinerarja, Santa Luċija. This block is bounded on the North-
East by Triq l-Anzalor, on the North-West by Triq Guljetta
Lopez and on the South-West by Triq iċ-Ċinerarja. Flats
numbered 2 and 5 Entrance A are registered with the
Government as Tenements numbered 70883 and 70886
respectively, flats numbered 7 and 8 Entrance A are registered
with the Government as Tenements bearing numbers 70888 and
70889 respectively, flat numbered 1 Entrance B is registered
with the Government as Tenement bearing number 70890 and
flats numbered 3 to 6 are registered with the Government as
Tenements bearing numbers 70892 to 70895. This block falls on
Government property acquired by Deed No. 556/74 dated 29th
July 1974 and by Deed No. 87/77 dated 16th August 1977, both
in the acts of Notary A. Attard and the whole block is shown
edged in red and marked “BLOCK R” on plan P.D. 11_82_129.

(10) A block, known as Block T, consisting of six flats
of which three are being excluded from the transfer as they were
already transferred by a previous legal notice, in Triq Katerina
Vitale, Santa Luċija. This block is bounded on the South-West
by Triq Maria de Domenicis, on the North-West by Triq
Katerina Vitale and on the North-East by Triq iċ-Ċiklamini.
Flats numbered 1, 3 and 5 are registered with the Government as
Tenements bearing numbers 72076, 72078 and 72080
respectively. This block falls on Government property acquired
by Deed No. 556/74 dated 29th July 1974 in the acts of Notary
A. Attard and the whole block is shown edged in red and
marked “Block T” on plan P.D. 11_82_130. (HAA 71/2011).
(11) A block, known as Block V, consisting of six flats
of which four are being excluded from the transfer as they were
already transferred by a previous legal notice, in Triq il-Fuxa,
Santa Luċija. This block is bounded on the North-West by Triq
il-Fuxa, on the South-West by Triq iċ-Ċinerarja and on the
North-East by Triq l-Anzalor. Flats numbered 4 and 5 are
registered with the Government as Tenements bearing numbers
72085 and 72086 respectively. This block falls on Government
property acquired by Deed No. 556/74 dated 29th July 1974 and
by Deed No. 87/77 dated 16th August 1977, both in the acts of
Notary A. Attard and the whole block is shown edged in red on
plan P.D. 11_82_131. (HAA 12/2016).
(12) A block, known as Block U, consisting of sixteen
flats of which two are being excluded from the transfer as they
were already transferred by a previous legal notice, in Triq iċ-
Ċinerarja, Santa Luċija. This block is bounded on the South-
West by Triq iċ-Ċiklamini, on the South-East by Triq Maria de
Domenicis and on the North-East by Triq iċ-Ċinerarja. Flats
numbered 1 to 4 Entrance A are registered with the Government
as Tenements bearing numbers 72088 to 72091, flats numbered
6 to 8 Entrance A are registered with the Government as
Tenements bearing numbers 72093 to 72095 and flats numbered
1 to 7 Entrance B are registered with the Government as
Tenements bearing numbers 72096 to 72102. This block falls on
Government property acquired by Deed No. 556/74 dated 29th
July 1974 in the acts of Notary A. Attard and the whole block is
shown edged in red and marked “Block U” on plan P.D.

(13) A block, known as Block C, consisting of fifteen
flats of which three are being excluded from the transfer as they
were already transferred by a previous legal notice, in Triq il-
Ġilju, Żabbar. This block is bounded on the North by a public
passage, on the West by Triq il-Ġilju and on the South by Triq
il-Ġiżimina. Flats numbered 1 and 2 are registered with the
Government as Tenements bearing numbers 66813 and 66814
respectively, flats numbered 5 to 8 are registered with the
Government as Tenements bearing numbers 66817 to 66820,
flats numbered 10 to 13 are registered with the Government as
Tenements bearing numbers 66822 to 66825 and flats numbered
15 and 17 are registered with the Government as Tenements
bearing numbers 66827 and 66829 respectively. This block falls
on Government property formerly part of Tenement numbered
50785 portion 15 and the whole block is shown edged in red on
plan P.D. 37_81_59. (HAA 19/2003).
