Feed-in Tariffs Scheme (Electricity Generated from Solar
Photovoltaic Installations) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations, 2016
IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 37(1) of the
Regulator for Energy and Water Services Act, the Prime Minister,
after consultation with the Regulator for Energy and Water Services,
has made the following regulations:-
The title of these regulations is the Feed-in Tariffs Scheme
(Electricity Generated from Solar Photovoltaic Installations)
(Amendment No.2) Regulations, 2016, and these regulations shall be
read and construed as one with the Feed-in Tariffs Scheme
(Electricity Generated from Solar Photovoltaic Installations)
Regulations, hereinafter referred to as "the principal regulations".
In paragraph (a) of regulation 4A of the principal
regulations, the words "and (f)" shall be deleted.
In item 6 of the First Schedule to the principal regulations,
the words "However in the case of solar photovoltaic systems with a
capacity equal or larger than 40kWp which have been approved a
feed-in tariff between 1st of May 2014 and the 30th of November
2014 the applicable feed-in tariff in case of an extension shall be of
15c/kWh." shall be deleted.
The Second Schedule to the principal regulations shall be
amended as follows
(a)
in item 1 thereof Table A shall be substituted by the
following new Table

and in the said item 1 thereof, the paragraph
"Units from the cap assigned to the FIT type of
structure integrated solar photovoltaic installations in
Table B that remain unallocated as at the 30th June 2016
may be transferred and added to the cap of units assigned
for FIT type (b) in Table A."
shall be substituted by the following new paragraph
"Units from the cap assigned to the FIT type of
structure integrated solar photovoltaic installations in
Table B that remain unallocated as at the 30th December
2016 may be transferred and added to the cap of units
assigned for FIT type (b) in Table A.";
(b)
in paragraph (a) of item 4 thereof, for the words
"the 30th June 2016" there shall be substituted the words "the
30th December 2016"; and
(c)
in item 5 thereof, Table B shall be substituted by
the following new Table:"

5. In the Third Schedule of the principal regulations, for the
