REGULATOR FOR ENERGY AND WATER SERVICES ACT

(CAP. 545)

Liquefied Petroleum Gas Market (Amendment No. 3)

Regulations, 2016

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 37(1) of the

Regulator for Energy and Water Services Act, the Minister for

Energy, after consultation with the Regulator for Energy and Water

Services, has made the following regulations:-

The title of these regulations is the Liquefied Petroleum

Gas Market (Amendment No. 3) Regulations, 2016, and these

regulations shall be read and construed as one with the Liquefied

Petroleum Gas Market Regulations, hereinafter referred to as "the

principal regulations".

In the second proviso to sub-regulation (4) of regulation

5A of the principal regulations, immediately after the words "shall be

reimbursed such higher amount." there shall be added the following

"The effects of this proviso shall apply to all portable

cylinders returned for the purpose of restitution after the 29th of

April 2016, irrespective of the date, before or after that date,

when the portable cylinder was delivered to a final customer.".
