DUTY ON DOCUMENTS AND TRANSFERS ACT

(CAP. 364)

Duty on Documents and Transfers Act (Amendment No. 2) Rules,

BY VIRTUE of the powers vested in him by articles 3(7) and

22(1)(d) of the Duty on Documents and Transfers Act, the Minister

for Finance has made the following rules:-

(1) The title of these rules is the Duty on Documents

and Transfers Act (Amendment No. 2) Rules, 2016, and these rules

shall be read and construed as one with the Duty on Documents and

Transfers Act, hereinafter referred to as "the principal Act".

(2) These rules shall come into force on the 1st June, 2016.

Immediately after article 67 of the principal Act there shall

be added the following new schedule

"SCHEDULE

(Articles 3 and 22)

For the correction of a promise of sale

€5.00

For every copy of the promise of sale agreement

€10.00".
