Identity Malta Agency (Establishment) (Amendment)

Order, 2016

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 36 of the Public

Administration Act, the Prime Minister has made the following

Article 3 of the principal Order shall be amended as Amends article

principal Order.

(a)

in paragraph (a) of sub-regulation (1) thereof,

immediately after the word "citizenship," there shall be added

the word "visas,";

(b)

paragraphs (c) to (e) of sub-regulation (2) thereof

shall be re-numbered as paragraphs (d) to (f) respectively; and

(c)

immediately after paragraph (b) of sub-regulation

(2) thereof, there shall be added the following new paragraph

"(c) to assist the Principal Immigration

Officer in the execution of his duties and

functions related to the processing of

applications for national visas under the

Immigration Act and to assist in the

implementation of any European Union legal

instrument relating to visas;".

In article 4 of the principal Order, for the words "for home
