FEES ORDINANCE

(CAP. 35)

Fees (Passport and Visas) (Amendment) Regulations, 2015

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 2 of the Fees

Ordinance, the Minister for Home Affairs and National Security, in

consultation with the Minister for Finance, has made the following

regulations:-

The title of these regulations is the Fees (Passport and Citation.

Visas) (Amendment) Regulations, 2015, and these regulations shall

be read and construed as one with the Fees (Passport and Visas) S.L. 35.24

Regulations, hereinafter referred to as "the principal regulations".

The Schedule to the principal regulations shall be Substitutes the

substituted by the following

"Service

1. For the issue of a passport between January to

March and September to December to persons who

are sixteen years of age and over, valid for ten years

2. For the issue of a passport between April and

August to persons who are sixteen years of age and

over, valid for ten years ........................................

For the issue of a passport to minors who are ten

years of age but have not yet attained their sixteenth

birthday, valid for five years ..................................

For the issue of a passport to minors who have not

attained their tenth birthday, valid for two years ......

For the issue of a collective certificate intended to

serve as a passport ................................................

For the issue of an Emergency Passport or any

travel document not otherwise provided for in lieu

of a passport ........................................................

Fast Track Passport (issued in four hours) ..............

Arabic Translation on Maltese Passport .................

Administration of Oaths ........................................

Urgent Passports issued during silent hours .............

Issue of ‘second’ Passport, valid for ten years .........

Diplomatic Passport .............................................

Travel Document (Convention of 28 July 1951) ......

For the issue of an ‘Alien Travel Document’ or an

‘Alien’s Passport’, valid for three years ...................

Fast Track Passport (issued in four hours during

office hours) to minors who are ten years of age but

have not yet attained their sixteenth birthday ...........

Fast Track Passport (issued in four hours during

office hours) to minors who have not attained their

tenth birthday ...........................................................

Urgent Passports issued during silent hours to
