Master of Advocacy Order, 2015

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by paragraph (c) of

article 81 of the Code of Organisation and Civil Procedure, the

Minister for Justice, Culture and Local Government, after

consultation with the Senate of the University of Malta, has made the

following Order:-

The title of this Order is the Master of Advocacy Order,

2015.

For the purposes of, and in terms of, paragraph of article

81(c) of the Code of Organization and Civil Procedure, the degree of

Master of Advocacy (M. Adv.) approved by the Senate of the

University of Malta as required by article 81(2) of the Education Act

and offered by the Faculty of Laws of the University of Malta, as

published in the Gazette by the Bye-Laws for the Degree of Master of

Advocacy - M.Adv. - and for the Degree of Master of Notarial Studies

- M.Not.St. - under the auspices of the Faculty of Laws, is hereby

prescribed as the other qualification at master’s level in terms of

article 81(c) of the Code of Organization and Civil Procedure which

entitles a holder thereof to sit for the examination to obtain a warrant

to practice as an advocate.

Fakultà tal-Liġi huwa b’dan stabbilit bħala l-grad l-ieħor fil-livell ta’

Master imsemmi fl-artikolu 81(ċ) li jintitola d-detentur ta’ dak il-grad

li joqgħod għall-eżami tal-warrant ta’ avukat.
