Enterprise Support Incentives (Amendment) (No. 3)
Regulations, 2015
IN exercise of the powers conferred upon him by article 5 of the
Malta Enterprise Act, the Minister for the Economy, Investment and
Small Business, in consultation with the Malta Enterprise
Corporation, has made the following regulations:-
The title of these regulations is the Enterprise Support Citation.
Incentives (Amendment) (No. 3) Regulations, 2015, and these
regulations shall be read and construed as one with the Enterprise S.L. 463.04
Support Incentives Regulations, hereinafter referred to as "the
principal regulations".
Regulation 18 of the principal regulations shall be Adds new
renumbered as regulation 19 and immediately after regulation 17 regulation

there shall be added the following new regulation

Where the Corporation is satisfied that a
business association requires assistance to facilitate
collaboration between undertakings that carry on or intend
to carry out activities that may contribute to the economic
development of Malta, the Corporation may provide such
a business association with a cash grant in accordance
with the terms and conditions set out in the Guidelines
Provided that for the purposes of this
regulation, a "business association" shall have the
meaning attributed to it in the Guidelines
Provided also that applications for assistance
under this regulation may be submitted to the Corporation
as from the 1 st January 2016 and shall reach the same
Corporation by not later than ten in the morning of the 31 st
December 2020.".
3. Regulation 19, as renumbered, of the principal regulations Amends
regulation 19, as
shall be amended as follows
re-numbered, of
the principal
regulations.
(a)
in the first proviso thereof, for the words "Provided
that, as from the 1 st January 2014, assistance provided under
regulations 4, 5, 6, 7, 12 and 17" there shall be substituted the
words "Provided that, as from the 1 st January 2014, assistance
provided under regulations 4, 5, 6, 7, 12, 17 and 18"; and
(b) in the second proviso thereof, for the words
"Provided further that, for the purposes of regulations 4, 5, 6, 7,
12 and 17" there shall be substituted the words "Provided
further that for the purposes of regulations 4, 5, 6, 7, 12, 17 and
18".
