Registration and Licensing of Motor Vehicles

(Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations, 2015

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 20 of the Motor

Vehicles Registration and Licensing Act, and by article 43 of the

Authority for Transport in Malta Act, the Minister for Infrastructure

and Transport, after consultation with the Authority for Transport in

Malta, made the following regulations:-

The title of these regulations is the Registration and

Licensing of Motor Vehicles (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations, 2015

and these regulations shall be read and construed as one with the

Registration and Licensing of Motor Vehicles Regulations,

hereinafter referred to as "the principal regulations".

In sub-regulation (3) of regulation 4 of the principal

regulations, for the words "administrative fee of fifty-five euro (€55)"

there shall be substituted the words "administrative fee of fifty euro

(€50)".

In sub-regulation (5) of regulation 6 of the principal

regulations, for the words "of fifty euro (€50)" there shall be

substituted the words "of fifty five euro (€55)".

In sub-regulation (4) of regulation 14 of the principal

regulations, for the words "of ten euro (€10) for each day the

applicable licence fee remains unpaid" there shall be substituted the

words "of ten euro (€10) for each month the applicable licence fee

remains unpaid up to a maximum of not more than €100".
