Filing of Acts before the Administrative Review Tribunal

by Electronic Means Regulations, 2015

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 16 of the

Administrative Justice Act, the Minister for Justice, Culture and

Local Government has made the following regulations:-

(1) The title of these regulations is the Filing of Acts Citation and

before the Administrative Review Tribunal by Electronic Means commencement.

Regulations, 2015.

(2) These regulations shall come into force on the 1st October

2015.

"Act" means the Administrative Justice Act;

"application" means the application made in terms of article

15(2) of the Act;

"by electronic means" shall mean online.

(2) Other words and expressions contained in these regulations

shall have the same meaning assigned to them in the Act.

prescribed fee.

and purposes of law be deemed as if they have been filed directly in

the Registry of the same Tribunal, provided that when the said

applications are filed by electronic means outside registry opening

hours as established by the Code of Organization and Civil Cap. 12.

Procedure, such acts shall be deemed to have been filed on the first

following day of the opening of the said Registry.
