SPECIAL FUNDS (REGULATION) ACT

(CAP. 450)

Special Funds (Revocation) Regulations, 2015

IN exercise of the powers conferred by sub-article (1) of article

50 of the Special Funds (Regulation) Act, the Minister for Finance,

acting on the advice of the Malta Financial Services Authority, has

made the following regulations:-

(1) The title of these regulations is the Special Funds

(Revocation) Regulations, 2015.

(2) These regulations shall come into force on the 1st January

2015.

The following regulations are hereby being revoked,

without prejudice to anything done or omitted to be done thereunder

(a)

the Special Funds (Registration of Retirement Fund

2003. Custodians) Regulations, 2003;

(b)

the Special Funds (Control of Assets) Regulations,

2003. 2003;

(c)

the Special Funds (Regulation) Act (European

Passport Rights for Institutions for Occupational Retirement

Provision) Regulations, 2006;

(d) the Special Funds (Regulation) Act (Exemption)

Regulations, 2006;

(e)

the Special Funds (Regulation) Act (Retirement

2009. Schemes Exemption) Regulations, 2009; and

(f)

the Special Funds (Fees) Regulations, 2014.
