Health Care Professions Act (Amendment of Fifth Schedule)

Regulations, 2015

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 51 of the Health

Care Professions Act, the Parliamentary Secretary for Health has

made the following regulations:-

The title of these regulations is the Health Care Professions

Act (Amendment of Fifth Schedule) Regulations, 2015, and these

regulations shall be read and construed as one with the Fifth Schedule

to the Health Care Professions Act, hereinafter referred to as "the

Fifth Schedule".

The item "Medical Practitioners" in Part A of the Fifth

Schedule shall be amended as follows

(a)

the speciality "1. Accident and

Emergency

Medicine" shall be substituted by the following

"1. Emergency Medicine" ; and

(b) under the speciality "38. Paediatrics", there shall be

added the following paediatric sub-specialities

"i.

Paediatric Cardiology

ii.

Paediatric Respiratory Medicine

iii.

Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes

iv.

Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and

Nutrition

v.

Paediatric Nephrology

vi.

Paediatric Oncology

vii. Paediatric Neurology

viii. Paediatric Infectious Disease

ix.

Community Paediatrics".
