Institute for Education (Establishment) (Amendment)

Order, 2015

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 131 of the

Education Act, the Prime Minister has made the following Order:-

The title of this Order is the Institute for Education

(Establishment) (Amendment) Order, 2015 and this order shall be

read and construed as one with the Institute for Education

(Establishment) Order, hereinafter referred to as the "principal order".

Sub-rule 3 of rule 6 of the principal order shall be amended

(a)

paragraph (a) thereof shall be substituted by the

"(a) two (2) registered teachers who have

practised the profession of teacher for not less than eight

years, appointed by the Minister, from among the officials

of the Directorate for Quality and Standards in Education

and the Directorate for Educational Services;";

(b)

paragraph (d) thereof shall be substituted by the

"(d) a member representing the Church schools

sector;"; and

(c)

paragraphs (e) to (j) thereof shall be re-numbered

as paragraphs (f) to (k) respectively and immediately after

paragraph (d) there shall be added the following new paragraph

"(e) a member representing the Independent

schools sector;".
