Activities Requiring Permit by Local Councils

(Amendment) Regulations, 2015

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 34(2) of the

Local Councils Act, the Minister for Justice, Culture and Local

Government, and the Minister for Economy, Investment and Small

Businesses, acting in exercise of the powers conferred by article 16(1)

of the Trading Licences Act, and with the concurrence of the Minister

for Finance, have made the following regulations:-

The title of these regulations is the Activities Requiring

Permit by Local Councils (Amendment) Regulations, 2015, and these

regulations shall be read and construed as one with the Activities

Requiring Permit by Local Councils Regulations, hereinafter referred

to as "the principal regulations".

Item 4 of Schedule C to the principal regulations shall be

substituted by the following

"Deposit or use of Crane or other Machinery

(a)

For the deposit or a crane or other

machinery of a size not exceeding 10m 2 in any street

during erection, construction or demolition of any building

or similar project for each site where such machinery is

situated for every day or part thereof ................................... 10.00

(b) For the deposit or a crane or other

machinery of a size exceeding 10m 2 in any street during

erection, construction or demolition of any building or

similar project for each site where such machinery is

situated for every day or part thereof ................................... 15.00".
