Housing Authority (Transfer of Assets) (No. 2) Order, 2015

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 12 of the Housing

Authority Act, the President of Malta has made the following order:-

The title of this order is the Housing Authority (Transfer of Citation.

Assets) (No. 2) Order, 2015.

The property described in article 4 of this order is hereby Specified

specified for the purpose of article 12 of the Housing Authority Act. property.

Two blocks, known as Block 16A and Block 16B

in Triq il-Gendus, Bormla and are bounded on the North by Triq

il-Gendus, on the East by a public open space and on the South

by Triq San Rokku. These blocks fall on Government property

acquired by President’s Declaration No. 498 dated 3rd May,

2012 and are shown edged in red and marked “Blk. 16A” and

“Blk. 16B” on plan P.D. 2015_0048, as follows

(a) Block 16A consists of four dwellings and two

flats. Dwellings numbered 1 and 2 are registered with the

Government as Tenements bearing numbers 63803 and

63804 respectively, flats numbered 1 and 2 Entrance 3 are

registered with the Government as Tenements bearing

numbers 63805 and 63806 respectively and dwellings

numbered 4 and 5 are registered with the Government as

Tenements bearing numbers 63807 and 63808; and

(b) Block 16B consists of four dwellings and two

flats. Dwellings numbered 1 and 2 are registered with the

Government as Tenements bearing numbers 63809 and

63810 respectively, flats numbered 1 and 2 Entrance 3 are

registered with the Government as Tenements bearing

numbers 63811 and 63812 respectively and dwellings

numbered 4 and 5 are registered with the Government as

Tenements bearing numbers 63813 and 63814. (HAA 68/

(b) Block 16B consists of four dwellings and two

flats. Dwellings numbered 1 and 2 are registered with the

Government as Tenements bearing numbers 63809 and

63810 respectively, flats numbered 1 and 2 Entrance 3 are

registered with the Government as Tenements bearing

numbers 63811 and 63812 respectively and dwellings

numbered 4 and 5 are registered with the Government as

Tenements bearing numbers 63813 and 63814. (HAA 68/

The administration of a block known as Block A2

consisting of six flats that are registered with the Government as

Tenements bearing numbers 72803 to 72808 in Triq Mater Boni

Consiglii, Fgura. This block is bounded on the South-East,

North-West and North-East by public open spaces and is shown

edged in red and marked “Block A2” on plan P.D. 2013_691.

(HAA 233/2012).

A block known as Block B consisting of twenty-

four flats, of which seven are being excluded from the transfer

as they were already transferred by a previous legal notice, in

Triq Sir Ugo Mifsud, Lija. This block is bounded on the North-

West by a public passage, on the South-West by Triq Sir Ugo

Mifsud and on the North-East by Triq in-Naxxar. Flats

numbered 1 to 5 Door 1 are registered with the Government as

Tenements bearing numbers 67233 to 67237, flats numbered 9

to 12 Door 1 are registered with the Government as Tenements

bearing numbers 67241 to 67244, flats numbered 1 to 6 Door 2

are registered with the Government as Tenements bearing

numbers 67245 to 67250, flats numbered 9 and 12 Door 2 are

registered with the Government as Tenements numbered 67253

and 67256 respectively. This block falls on Government

property formerly part of Tenement No. 50192 and the whole

block is shown edged in red and marked “BLOCK B DOOR 2”

and “BLOCK B DOOR 1” on plan P.D. 2015_0166. (HAA 207/

2013, HAA 208/2013).

A block known as Block O consisting of four flats,

of which two are being excluded from the transfer as they were

already transferred by a previous legal notice, in Triq il-Ġilju,

Santa Lucija. This block is bounded on the North-West by Triq

il-Ġilju, on the South-West by Triq iż-Żnuber and on the North-

East by Triq l-Għansar. Flats numbered 2 and 3 are registered

with the Government as Tenements bearing numbers 68418 and

68419 respectively. This block falls on Government property

and “BLOCK B DOOR 1” on plan P.D. 2015_0166. (HAA 207/

2013, HAA 208/2013).

A block known as Block O consisting of four flats,

of which two are being excluded from the transfer as they were

already transferred by a previous legal notice, in Triq il-Ġilju,

Santa Lucija. This block is bounded on the North-West by Triq

il-Ġilju, on the South-West by Triq iż-Żnuber and on the North-

East by Triq l-Għansar. Flats numbered 2 and 3 are registered

with the Government as Tenements bearing numbers 68418 and

68419 respectively. This block falls on Government property

acquired by Deed No. 86/77 dated 16th August 1977 in the acts

of Notary A. Attard and by Deed No. 70/78 dated 10th August

1978 in the acts of Notary A.E. Borg Barthet and the whole

block is shown edged in red and marked “Block O” on plan P.D.

Three blocks, known as Blocks A, B and C in Triq

il-Ġdida and Triq Giovanni Barbara, Luqa and are bounded on

the North-West by private property, on the South-West by Triq

il-Ġdida and on the South-East by Triq Giovanni Bonavia. This

block falls on Government property acquired by Deed No. 142/

70 dated 9th May 1970 and by Deed No. 227/71 dated 30th

October 1971 and are both in the acts of Notary A. Grech and by

Deed dated 13th February 1935 in the acts of Notary C. Gatt.

The whole block is shown edged in red and marked “BLOCK

A”, “BLOCK B” and “BLOCK C” on plan P.D. 2014_733 as

follows

(a) Block A consists of eight flats, of which four

are being excluded from the transfer as they were already

transferred by a previous legal notice. Flats numbered 2, 4,

6 and 8 are registered with the Government as Tenements

bearing numbers 66438, 66440, 66442 and 66444

respectively;

(b) Block B consists of eight flats, of which two

are being excluded from the transfer as they were already

transferred by a previous legal notice. Flats numbered 1

and 2 are registered with the Government as Tenements

bearing numbers 66445 and 66446 respectively and flats

numbered 4 and 5 are registered with the Government as

Tenements bearing numbers 66448 and 66449

respectively; and

(c) Block C consists of eight flats, of which five

are being excluded from the transfer as they were already

transferred by a previous legal notice, and a garden site.

Flats 4 and 5 are registered with the Government as

Tenements bearing numbers 66454 and 66455 respectively,

flat 7 is registered with the Government as Tenement No.

66457 and the garden site is registered with the

Government as Tenement No. 51965. (HAA 71/2014,

HAA 72/2014 and HAA 73/2014).

A block known as Blk 14 Doors A and B consisting

of twelve flats, of which five are being excluded from the

transfer as they were already transferred by a previous legal

notice, in Triq il-Fontanier, Qormi. This block is bounded on the

North-East by Pjazza PP Psaila, on the North-West by Triq il-

Fontanier and on the South-East by Government property. Flat

numbered 2 Entrance A is registered with the Government as

Tenement No. 66426, flat numbered 4 Entrance A is registered

with the Government as Tenement No. 66428, flat numbered 2

Entrance B is registered with the Government as Tenement No.

66430, flats numbered 4 and 5 are registered with the

Government as Tenements bearing numbers 66432 and 66433

respectively and flats numbered 7 and 8 are registered with the

Government as Tenements bearing numbers 66435 and 66436

respectively.This block falls on Government property formerly

part of Tenement No. 51197 and the whole block is edged in red

and marked “Block 14” on plan P.D. 2015_0015. (HAA 126/

2013, HAA 127/2013).

A block known as Block J Doors 1 and 2 consisting

of eight flats, of which two are being excluded from the transfer

as they were already transferred by a previous legal notice, in

Għajn Kajjet Housing Estate, Rabat. Flats numbered 1 and 3

Door 1 are registered with the Government as Tenements

bearing numbers 69874 and 69876 respectively, flats numbered

6 to 8 Door 1 are registered with the Government as Tenements

69879 to 69881, flats numbered 1 and 2 Door 2 are registered

with the Government as Tenements bearing numbers 69882 and

69883 respectively, flat numbered 4 Door 2 is registered with

the Government as Tenement No. 69885 and flats numbered 6 to

8 Door 2 are registered with the Government as Tenements

bearing numbers 69887 to 69889. This block falls on

Government property formerly part of Tenement No. 80116 and

the whole block is edged in red and marked “BLOCK J” on plan

P.D. 2014_437. (HAA 10/2014, HAA 11/2014).

A block known as Block 3 consisting of sixteen

flats, of which three are being excluded from the transfer as they

were already transferred by a previous legal notice, in Triq

Ramija, Siġġiewi. This block is bounded on the South-West by a

public passage off Triq Ramija and on the North-West and

North-East by public passages. Flats numbered 2 to 8 Entrance

A are registered with the Government as Tenements bearing

numbers 68726 to 68732, flats numbered 1 to 4 Entrance B are

registered with the Government as Tenements bearing numbers

68733 to 68736 and flats numbered 6 and 7 Entrance B are

registered with the Government as Tenements bearing numbers

68738 and 68739 respectively. This block falls on Government

property acquired by Deed No. 72/98 dated 8th April 1998 in

the acts of Notary V. Miceli and the whole block is edged in red

and marked “Block 3 Door A” and “Block 3 Door B” on plan

P.D. 2015_0095. (HAA 57/2014, HAA 44/2014).

A block, Door numbers 124 to 126 in Triq San

Nikola, Valletta consisting of two dwellings and eight flats, of

which two are being excluded from the transfer as they were

already transferred by a previous legal notice and is bounded on

the South-West by Triq San Nikola, on the North-West and on

the South-East by Government property. Flats numbered 1, 3, 4,

5, 7 and 8 are registered with the Government as Tenements

bearing numbers J64836, J68865, J75109, J48694, J47440,

J42994 respectively. This block falls on Government property

acquired by the Church by State Agreement dated 1991 and is

shown edged in red on plan P.D. 2013_743. (HAA 178/2012).

(10) A block known as Block A consisting of eight flats,

of which three are being excluded from the transfer as they were

already transferred by a previous legal notice, in taċ-Ċawla

Housing Estate, Victoria, Gozo. This block is bounded on the

North-West and on the South-East by a public passage and on

the North-East by Triq iċ-Ċawla. Flats numbered 3 and 4 are

registered with the Government as Tenements bearing numbers

Z60309 and Z60310 respectively and flats numbered 6 to 8

registered with the Government as Tenements bearing numbers

Z60312 to Z60314. This block falls on Government property

formerly registered as part of Tenement Z50039 and the whole

block is edged in red and marked “BLOCK A” on plan P.D.

2015_0118. (HAA 33/2012).

(11) A block known as Block H, Entrance A consisting

of eight flats of which one is being excluded from the transfer as

it was already transferred by a previous legal notice, in taċ-

Ċawla Housing Estate, Victoria, Gozo. This block is bounded

on the West by property of the Housing Authority or its

successors in title, on the North and on the East by Triq iċ-

Ċawla. Flats numbered 2 to 8 are registered with the

Government as Tenements bearing numbers Z60405 to Z60411.

This block falls on Government property formerly registered as

part of Tenement Z50039 and the whole block is edged in red

and marked “BLOCK H” on plan P.D. 2011_861_1. (HAA118/

2014).
