Correction of Laws Order, 2014 (Cap. 255)

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 7(3) of the Statute

Law Revision Act, 1980, the Law Commission has made the

following correction

In the Maltese version of the Marriage Act there shall be

effected the following corrections

(a)

in the definition "Reġistratur" in sub-article (1) of

article 2 thereof, for the words "fl-ibħra internazzjonali ta’ xi

pajjiż" there shall be substituted the words "fl-ibħra interni ta’ xi

pajjiż"; and

(b)

in sub-article (1) of article 16 thereof, for the words

"fl-ibħra internazzjonali ta’ xi pajjiż" there shall be substituted

the words "fl-ibħra interni ta’ xi pajjiż".

The Parliamentary Secretary for Justice has appointed the

1st January, 2010, as the date on which the correction made by the

Law Commission and published by this Legal Notice shall come into

force.
