Correction of Laws Order, 2014

(Legal Notice 47 of 2014)

IN exercise of the powers conferred by articles 4(3) and 7(3) of

the Statute Law Revision Act, 1980, the Law Commission has made

the following correction

In the Maltese version of the Individual Investor

Programme of the Republic of Malta Regulations, 2014 there shall be

effected the following corrections

(a)

in the definition "applikant ewlieni" in regulation 2

2014. of the above-mentioned Regulations, for the word "impenni"

there shall be substituted the word "impenji";

(b)

in regulation 6 of the above-mentioned

Regulations, for the words "sakemm Identità Malta tkun

sodisfatta" there shall be substituted the words "sakemm Identità

Malta ma tkunx sodisfatta";

(c)

in the second proviso to subregulation (5) of

regulation 7 of the above-mentioned Regulations, for the words

"għal Ŝmien ta’ mill-inqas tlett snin" there shall be substituted the

words "għal Ŝmien ta’ mill-inqas ħames snin";

(d)

in the third proviso to subregulation (5) of

regulation 7 of the above-mentioned Regulations, for the words

"sakemm jiskadi l-perjodu ta’ tlett snin" there shall be substituted

the words "sakemm jiskadi l-perjodu ta’ ħames snin";

(e)

in subregulation (1) of regulation 13 of the above-

mentioned Regulations, for the words "li jiāu riëevuti" there

shall be substituted the words "li jiāu riëevuti minn Identità

Malta"; and

(f)

in point (d) of subparagraph (1) of paragraph 2 of

the Schedule to the above-mentioned Regulations, the words

"matul is-sena li ssir l-applikazzjoni" shall be deleted.

In subregulation (7) of regulation 4 of the above-

mentioned Regulations, for the words "the age of eighteen:" there

shall be substituted the words "the age of eighteen years:".

The Parliamentary Secretary for Justice has appointed the

4th February, 2014 as the date on which the corrections made by the

Law Commission and published by this Legal Notice shall come into

force.
