Housing Authority (Transfer of Assets) (No. 6) Order, 2014

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 12 of the Housing

Authority Act, the President of Malta has made the following order:-

The title of this order is the Housing Authority (Transfer of Citation.

Assets) (No. 6) Order, 2014.

The property described in article 4 of this order is hereby Specified

specified for the purpose of article 12 of the Housing Authority Act. property.

The property specified in article 2 of this order shall be Appointed day.

transferred and vest in the Housing Authority as provided in the

aforesaid article with effect from the 18th of November, 2014.

The property referred to in article 2 of this order is the Description of

specified

(1)

A block, known as Block D, Entrances A, B and C

consisting of eighteen flats of which two are being excluded

from the transfer as they were already transferred by a previous

legal notice, in Triq Fuq tal-Ħawli, Birgu. This block is bounded

on the North-West by Triq il-Mons. Pawlu Galea, on the South-

West by Triq il-Qalb ta’ Ġesu and on the South-East by Triq Fuq

tal-Ħawli. Flats numbered 2 to 6, Entrance A are registered with

the Government as Tenements bearing numbers 70041 to 70045,

flats numbered 1 to 6, Entrance B are registered with the

Government as Tenements bearing numbers 70046 to 70051 and

flats numbered 2 to 6, Entrance C are registered with the

Government as Tenements bearing numbers 70053 to 70057.

This block falls on Government property acquired by Deed No.

60/76 dated 21st of March 1979 and by Deed No. 209/76G

dated 7th July 1976, both in the acts of Notary A. Grech and the

whole block is edged in red and marked “Block D” on plan P.D.

2013_668. (HAA 100/2013, HAA 101/2013, HAA 102/2013).

The administration of six flats in Block K in Triq

il-Laqxija, Birkirkara and this block is bounded on the North-

West by Triq il-Laqxija, on the South-West and on the South-

East by a public passage. Flats numbered 1 to 6 are registered

with the Government as Tenements bearing numbers 75650 to

75655. The land where this block is located is in the course of

acquisition by the Government and the whole block is edged in

red and marked “Block K” on plan P.D. 2013_748. (HAA 9/

2013).

A block, known as Block 3, consisting of eight flats

of which two are being excluded from the transfer as they were

already transferred by a previous legal notice, in Triq il-Fosos,

Floriana. This block is bounded on the South-West, North-East

Government as Tenements bearing numbers 70053 to 70057.

This block falls on Government property acquired by Deed No.

60/76 dated VERŻJONI

1979 and by Deed No. 209/76G

dated 7th July 1976, both in the acts of Notary A. Grech and the

whole block is edged in red and marked “Block D” on plan P.D.

il-Laqxija, Birkirkara and this block is bounded on the North-

West by Triq il-Laqxija, on the South-West and on the South-

East by a public passage. Flats numbered 1 to 6 are registered

with the Government as Tenements bearing numbers 75650 to

75655. The land where this block is located is in the course of

acquisition by the Government and the whole block is edged in

red and marked “Block K” on plan P.D. 2013_748. (HAA 9/

A block, known as Block 3, consisting of eight flats

of which two are being excluded from the transfer as they were

already transferred by a previous legal notice, in Triq il-Fosos,

Floriana. This block is bounded on the South-West, North-East

and North-West by public passages. Flats numbered 1 and 2 are

registered with the Government as Tenements bearing numbers

66527 and 66528 respectively and flats numbered 4 to 7 are

registered with the Government as Tenements bearing numbers

66530 to 66533. This block falls on Government property

acquired by Deed No. 234 dated 18th of September 1963 in the

acts of Notary A. Attard and the whole block is edged in red and

marked “Block 3” on plan P.D. 2013_187. (HAA 172/2012).

A block, known as Block 5, Doors 1 and 2

consisting of sixteen flats of which two are being excluded from

the transfer as they were already transferred by a previous legal

notice, in Triq ix-Xatt, Gżira. This block is bounded on the

North-East by Government property, on the North-West by a

public passage and on the South-East by Triq ix-Xatt. Flats

numbered 2 to 8, Door 1 are registered with the Government as

Tenements bearing numbers 75262 to 75268, flats numbered 1

to 6, Door 2 are registered with the Goverment as Tenements

bearing numbers 75269 to 75274 and flat numbered 8, Door 2 is

registered with the Government as Tenement No. 75276. This

block falls on Government property formerly part of Tenement

No. 50064 and the whole block is shown edged in red on plan

P.D. 2014_695. (HAA 259/2012, HAA 172/2013).

Four blocks, known as Blocks K, L, M and N in

tar-Rabbat, Ħamrun as follows

(a) Block K consists of eight flats of which two

are being excluded from the transfer as they were already

transferred by a previous legal notice. Flats numbered 3 to

8 are registered with the Government as Tenements

bearing numbers 69685 to 69689;

(b) Block L consists of eight flats registered with

the Government as Tenements bearing numbers 69690 to

69697;

(c) Block M consists of eight flats registered with

the Government as Tenements bearing numbers 69698 to

69705; and

registered with the Government

as Tenement No. 75276. This

block falls on Government property formerly part of Tenement

No. 50064 and the whole block is shown edged in red on plan

P.D. 2014_695. (HAA 259/2012, HAA 172/2013).

Four blocks, known as Blocks K, L, M and N in

tar-Rabbat, Ħamrun as follows

(a) Block K consists of eight flats of which two

are being excluded from the transfer as they were already

transferred by a previous legal notice. Flats numbered 3 to

8 are registered with the Government as Tenements

bearing numbers 69685 to 69689;

(b) Block L consists of eight flats registered with

the Government as Tenements bearing numbers 69690 to

69697;

(c) Block M consists of eight flats registered with

the Government as Tenements bearing numbers 69698 to

69705; and

(d) Block N consists of eight flats registered with

the Government as Tenements bearing numbers 69706 to

69713.

The site is bounded on the East by Triq Giovanni Barbara,

on the North by an open space and on the West by Triq Wenzinu

Mifsud Bonnici. The land where these blocks are located is

Government property acquired by Deed No. 69/79 dated 28th

March 1979 in the acts of Notary A. Grech and by Deed No. 14/

81 dated 14th January 1981 in the acts of Notary F. Pellegrini

and the whole site is shown edged in red and marked “Block K”,

“Block L”, “Block M”, “Block N” on plan P.D. 2014_56. (HAA

167/2013, HAA 168/2013, HAA 25/2011, HAA 217/2013).

A plot of land, known as Plot 54 in Triq Napuljun

Caruana Dingli, Ta’ Pennellu, Mellieħa, having an area of

approximately 164 square metres and is bounded on the South-

West by Triq Napuljun Caruana Dingli, on the North-West by

property transferred to the Housing Authority and on the North-

East by a public passage. The plot is subject to a temporary

empyhteusis as per Deed No. 31/70 dated 31st January 1970 in

the acts of Notary A. Grech. The plot falls on part of

Government property formerly registered as Tenement No.

Z50222 port. 3 and is registered in the Estate Management

Directorate records as Tenement No. 65697 and is shown edged

in red and marked “P. 54” on plan L.D. 383/91/7. (HAP 1/2014).

A garage, in a block known as Proġett ta’ Ġnien ix-

Xajba in Triq Ġnien Ingraw, Mellieħa and is bounded on the

East by Triq il-Mitħna l-Ġdida, on the North by Triq Ġnien

Ingraw and on the South by private property. This garage

registered with the Government as Tenement No. 76927 and

falls on Government land formerly part of wasteland 288 and is

shown edged in red and marked “76927” on plan L.D. 219/92.

A block, known as Block D, Door 1 consisting of

eight flats of which one is being excluded from the transfer as it

in red and marked “P. 54” on plan L.D. 383/91/7. (HAP 1/2014).

A garage, in a block known as Proġett ta’ Ġnien ix-

Xajba in Triq Ġnien Ingraw, Mellieħa and is bounded on the

East by Triq il-Mitħna l-Ġdida, on the North by Triq Ġnien

Ingraw and on the South by private property. This garage

registered with the Government as Tenement No. 76927 and

falls on Government land formerly part of wasteland 288 and is

shown edged in red and marked “76927” on plan L.D. 219/92.

A block, known as Block D, Door 1 consisting of

eight flats of which one is being excluded from the transfer as it

was already transferred by a previous legal notice, in Għajn

Kajjet Housing Estate, Rabat. This block is bounded on the

South-East, North-East and North-West by public passages.

Flats numbered 1 to 3 are registered with the Government as

Tenements bearing numbers 69860 to 69862 and flats numbered

5 to 8 are registered with the Government as Tenements bearing

numbers 69864 to 69867. This block falls on Government

property acquired by Deed No. 90/77 dated 13th April 1977 in

the acts of Notary A. Grech and the whole block is shown edged

in red and marked “Block D, door 1” on plan P.D. 2014_77.

A block, known as Block D, Door 2 consisting of

eight flats of which two are being excluded from the transfer as

they were already transferred by a previous legal notice, in

Għajn Kajjet Housing Estate, Rabat. This block is bounded on

the South and on the North by public passages and on the East

by Government property. Flats numbered 1 and 2 are registered

with the Government as Tenements bearing numbers 67257 and

67258 respectively and flats numbered 4 to 7 are registered with

the Government as Tenements bearing numbers 67260 to 67263.

This block falls on Government property acquired by Deed No.

90/77 dated 13th April 1977 in the acts of Notary A. Grech and

the whole block is shown edged in red and marked “Block D,

door 2” on plan P.D. 2014_74. (HAA 29/2013).

(10) A block, known as Block D, Door 3 consisting of

eight flats of which four are being excluded from the transfer as

they were already transferred by a previous legal notice, in

Għajn Kajjet Housing Estate, Rabat. This block is bounded on

the South and on the North by public passages and on the East

by Government property. Flat numbered 1 is registered with the

Government as Tenement No. 67265, flats numbered 5 and 6 are

registered with the Government as Tenements bearing numbers

67269 and 67270 respectively and flat numbered 8 is registered

with the Government as Tenement No. 67272. This block falls

on Government property acquired by Deed No. 90/77 dated 13th

April 1977 in the acts of Notary A. Grech and the whole block is

shown edged in red and marked “Block D, door 3” on plan P.D.

2014_78. (HAA 30/2013).

(11) A block, known as Block D, Door 4 consisting of

eight flats of which one is being excluded from the transfer as it

was already transferred by a previous legal notice, in Għajn

Kajjet Housing Estate, Rabat. This block is bounded on the

South and on the North by public passages and on the East by

Government property. Flats numbered 1 and 2 are registered

with the Government as Tenements bearing numbers 67273 and

67274 respectively and flats numbered 4 to 8 are registered with

the Government as Tenements bearing numbers 67276 to 67280.

This block falls on Government property acquired by Deed No.

90/77 dated 13th April 1977 in the acts of Notary A. Grech and

the whole block is shown edged in red and marked “Block D,

door 4” on plan P.D. 2014_79. (HAA 31/2013).

(12) A block, known as Block D, Door 5 consisting of

eight flats of which seven are being excluded from the transfer

as they were already transferred by a previous legal notice, in

Għajn Kajjet Housing Estate, Rabat. This block is bounded on

the South and on the North by public passages and on the East

by Government property. Flat numbered 7 is registered with the

Government as Tenement No. 67287. This block falls on

Government property acquired by Deed No. 90/77 dated 13th

April 1977 in the acts of Notary A. Grech and the whole block is

shown edged in red and marked “Block D, door 5” on plan P.D.

2014_93. (HAA 32/2013).

(13) A block, known as Block 1, Doors A and B

consisting of sixteen flats of which seven are being excluded

from the transfer as they were already transferred by a previous

legal notice, in Triq l-Ewkaliptus, San Ġwann. This block is

bounded on the East by Triq it-Tamar, on the West by Triq l-

Ewkaliptus and on the North by a public passage. Flats

numbered 6 to 8, Door A are registered with the Government as

Tenements bearing numbers 71381 to 71383, flats numbered 9

and 10, Door B are registered with the Government as

Tenements bearing numbers 71384 and 71385 respectively, flats

numbered 12 and 13 are registered with the Government as

Tenements bearing numbers 71387 and 71388 respectively and

flats numbered 15 and 16 are registered with the Government as

Tenements bearing numbers 71390 and 71391 respectively. This

block falls on Government property acquired by Deed No. 181/

70 dated 27th June 1970 and by Deed No. 21/81 dated 18th

February 1981, both in the acts of Notary A. Grech and the

whole block is shown edged in red on plan P.D. 2014_436.

(14) A block, known as Sacred Heart consisting of two

flats and three garages in Triq il-Qalb ta’ Ġesu, St. Paul’s Bay

and were acquired by the Government by Deed No. 226 dated

2nd October 2012 in the acts of Notary Jospeh Henry Saydon,

as follows

(a) flats numbered 3 and 5 are registered with the

Government as Tenements bearing numbers J20925 and

J20926 respectively and are both accessible from common

areas at ground floor and first floor as shown in yellow on

plan P.D. 2012_797_1. These flats are bounded on the

North and on the South-East by third party property and on

the South-West by Triq il-Qalb ta’ Ġesu; and

(b) garages numbered 14, 15 and 20 are

registered with the Government as Tenements bearing

numbers J20927, J20928 and J20929 respectively and are

all located at basement level and shown edged in red on

plan P.D. 2012_797. Garages numbered 14 and 15 are

bounded on the North by the common driveway, on the

East by third party property and on the South-West by Triq

il-Qalb ta’ Ġesu. Garage numbered 20 is bounded on the

North by the common driveway, on the East and on the

West by third party property. (HAA 109/2014).

(15) A block, known as Block H consisting of sixteen

flats of which one is being excluded from the transfer as it was

already transferred by a previous legal notice, in Triq il-Lellux,

Santa Luċija. This block is bounded on the North-East by Triq

il-Lellux, on the South-West by Triq l-Għansar and on the

South-East by Triq Maria de Dominicis. Flat numbered 1 is

registered with the Government as Tenement No. 68344 and

flats numbered 3 to 16 are registered with the Government as

Tenements bearing numbers 68346 to 68359. This block falls on

Government property acquired by Deed No. 91/97 dated 10th

August 1978 in the acts of Notary A. E. Borg Barthet and the

whole block is shown edged in red and marked “Block H” on

plan P.D. 2014_430. (HAA 35/2014, HAA 36/2014).

(16) A block, known as Block A, Doors A and B

consisting of sixteen flats of which three are being excluded

from the transfer as they were already transferred by a previous

legal notice, in Triq it-Tursin il-Bir, Santa Luċija. This block is

bounded on the North-West by Triq il-Peprin, on the South-West

by Triq it-Tursin il-Bir and on the North-East by Triq Inez Soler.

Flats numbered 1 to 3, Door A, are registered with the

Government as Tenements bearing numbers 66577 to 66579,

flats numbered 5 to 8, Door A, are registered with the

Government as Tenements bearing numbers 66581 to 66584,

flats numbered 9 to 13, Door B, are registered with the

Government as Tenements bearing numbers 66585 to 66589 and

flat numbered 16 is registered with the Government as

Tenement No. 66592. This block falls on Government property

acquired by Deed No. 136/61 dated 2nd September 1961 and on

land which was formerly part of a public passage and the whole

block is shown edged in red and marked “Block A” on plan P.D.

2013_606. (HAA 57/2009, HAA 128/2014).

(17) A block, known as Block C1 consisting of eight

flats of which five are being excluded from the transfer as they

were already transferred by a previous legal notice, in Triq il-

Prinċipessa Margerita, Ta’ Xbiex. This block is bounded on the

East by Triq il-Kosbor, on the North by Triq il-Prinċipessa

Margerita and on the West by Government property. Flats

numbered 4, 6 and 8 are registered with the Government as

Tenements bearing numbers 69195, 69197 and 69199

respectively. This block falls on Government property acquired

by Deed No. 52/78/G dated 15th March 1978 in the acts of

Notary A. Grech and the whole block is shown edged in red and

marked “Blk C1” on plan P.D. 2013_607. (HAA 139/2013).

(18) Two blocks, known as Blocks A and C in Tarxien.

Both blocks fall on Government property formerly part of

Tenement No. 51340 and are shown edged in red and marked

“Block A” and “Block C” on plan P.D. 2013_632 as follows

(a) Block A consists of eight flats of which six

are being excluded from the transfer as they were already

transferred by a previous legal notice, and is bounded on

the North-West by Triq Annetto Caruana, on the South-

West by Triq Gananton Tanti and on the South-East by an

open space. Flats numbered 5 and 8 are registered with the

Government as Tenements bearing numbers 70263 and

70266 respectively; and

(b) Block C consists of eight flats of which five

are being excluded from the transfer as they were already

transferred by a previous legal notice, and is bounded on

the South-West by Triq Gananton Tanti and on the North-

West and on the South-East by an open space. Flats

numbered 1, 5 and 6 are registered with the Government as

Tenements bearing numbers 70275, 70279 and 70280

respectively. (HAA 20/2013, HAA 98/2013).

(19) A plot of land known as Plot 143 and a site in Triq

il-Ward, Żabbar and falls on part of Government property

formerly p/o Tenement No. 50786 port 16th, as follows

(a) Plot 143 has an area of approximately 168.58

square metres and is bounded on the South by Triq il-

Ġiżimina, on the West by Triq il-Ward and on the North by

property transferred to the Housing Authority. This plot is

subject to a perpetual empyhteusis as per Deed No. 342/79/

P dated 11th September 1979 in the acts of Notary F.

Pellegrini. This plot is registered in the Estate Management

Directorate records as Tenement No. 40958 and is shown

edged in red and marked “P. 143” on plan L.D. 37/81/36 ;

and

(b) the site located behind Plot 143 has an area of

approximately 35 square metres and is bounded on the

South by Triq il-Ġiżimina, on the West by Plot 143 and on

the North by property transferred to the Housing Authority.

This site is subject to a perpetual empyhteusis as per Deed

No. 96 dated 4th June 2003 in the acts of Notary V. Miceli.

This site is registered in the Estate Management

Directorate records as Tenement No. 42027 and is shown

edged in red and marked “G” on plan L.D. 37/81/36. (HAP

3/2012).

A block, known as Block B1 consisting of six flats

of which four are being excluded from the transfer as they were

already transferred by a previous legal notice, in Triq Ganni

Bonnici, Żebbuġ. This block is bounded on the North-East by an

open space, on the West by Triq Ġanni Bonnici and on the

South-East by a public passage. Flats numbered 2 and 6 are

registred with the Government as Tenements bearing numbers

72021 and 72025 respectively. This block falls on Government

property acquired by Deed No. 67/79 dated 28th March 1978 in

the acts of Notary A. Grech and the whole block is shown edged

in red and marked “BLOCK B1” on plan P.D. 2014_73. (HAA

175/2013).
