Quality of Fuels (Amendment No. 2) Regulations, 2014

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 28(1) of the

Malta Resources Authority Act, by article 43(3) of the Authority for

Transport in Malta Act and by article 374(1) of the Merchant

Shipping Act, the Minister for Energy and Health and the Minister for

Transport and Infrastructure, after consultation with the Malta

Resources Authority and the Authority for Transport in Malta, have

made the following regulations:-

The title of these regulations is the Quality of Fuels

(Amendment No. 2) Regulations, 2014 and these regulations shall be

read and construed as one with the Quality of Fuels Regulations,

hereinafter referred to as "the principal regulations".

(2) These regulations shall be deemed to have come into force

on the 1st January, 2014.

In sub-regulation (1) of regulation 6A of the principal

regulations, for the words "of more than 6 mg" there shall be

substituted the words "of more than 2 mg".
