Farmers’ Markets (Amendment) Regulations, 2014

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 3 of the Supplies

and Services Act, the Minister for the Economy, Investment and

Small Business, in consultation with the Minister for Sustainable

Development, the Environment and Climate Change, has made the

following regulations:-

The title of these regulations is the Farmers’ Markets

(Amendment) Regulations, 2014, and these regulations shall be read

and construed as one with the Farmers’ Markets Regulations,

hereinafter referred to as "the principal regulations".

Sub-regulation (3) of regulation 4 of the principal

regulations shall be substituted by the following

"(3)

Holders of a permit issued in terms of these

regulations shall apply during January 2014 for consideration of

the renewal of such permit after verification of the holders’

compliance with permit conditions and these regulations. Such

renewal applications shall be made every three years after the

above period during the month of January.".
