Correction of Laws Order, 2014

Various Laws (Criminal Matters) (Amendment) Act, 2014

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 7(3) of the Statute

Law Revision Act, 1980, the Law Commission has made the

following corrections

The Various Laws (Criminal Matters) (Amendment) Act,

2014, (Act IV of 2014) shall be corrected as follows

(a)

in article 2(2) thereof the words "as added by

article 23 of this Act" shall be corrected to read "as added by

article 25 of this Act";

(b)

in article 534AF as added by article 25 thereof

(i) in sub-article (3) thereof, the words "access to

the material referred to in sub-article (2)" shall be

corrected to read "access to the material evidence referred

to in sub-article (2)"; and

(ii) in the English version of sub-article (4)

thereof, the words "a court nor magistrate" shall be

corrected to read "a court or magistrate".

The Minister for Justice, Culture and Local Government

has appointed the 2nd June, 2014, as the date on which the

corrections made by the Law Commission and published by this

Legal Notice shall come into force.
