Correction of Laws Order, 2014 (Act IX of 2014)
IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 7(3) of the Statute
Law Revision Act, 1980, the Law Commission has made the
following correction

Reg. 1 Correction to the Civil Unions Act. Act IX of 2014. — Correction of Laws Order, 2014 (Act IX of 2014)

In article 5 of the Civil Unions Act, 2014 - Act IX of 2014
- there shall be made the following correction whereby the words
"The registration of a Civil Union is essential for the validation of the
said Civil Union and the civil effects of the same union." shall be
deleted .

The Minister for Justice, Culture and Local Government
has appointed the 17th April, 2014, as the date on which the
correction made by the Law Commission and published by this Legal
Notice shall come into force.
