FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATION AND AUDIT ACT
(CAP. 174)
Public Procurement (Amendment No. 2) Regulations, 2014
BY VIRTUE of the powers conferred by article 4 of the
Financial Administration and Audit Act, the Minister for Finance has
made the following regulations:-
The title of these regulations is the Public Procurement Citation.
(Amendment No. 2) Regulations, 2014, and these regulations shall be
read and construed as one with the Public Procurement Regulations, S.L. 174.04
hereinafter referred to as the "principal regulations".
Schedule 1 to the principal regulations shall be amended as Amends
Schedule 1 to
follows
the principal
regulations.
(a)
in the second column of the Table regarding the
Complete List of Contracting Authorities relating to the Office
of the Prime Minister in the first column thereof, the words
"Malta Council for Science and Technology" shall be deleted;
(b) in the first column of the Table regarding the
Complete List of Contracting Authorities relating to the
Ministry of Education and Employment, the words "Ministry of
Education and Employment" shall be substituted by the words
"Ministry for Education and Employment"; and
(c)
in the second column of the Table regarding the
Complete List of Contracting Authorities relating to the
Ministry for Education and Employment, as amended, there
shall be added the words "Malta Council for Science and
Technology".
Schedule 2 to the principal regulations shall be amended as Amends
Schedule 2 to

regulations.
(a)
in the second column of the Table regarding the
Contracting Authorities falling within the competence of the
Department of Contracts relating to the Office of the Prime
Minister in the first column thereof, the words "Malta Council
for Science and Technology" shall be deleted;
(b) in the first column of the Table regarding the
Contracting Authorities falling within the competence of the
Department of Contracts relating to the Ministry of Education
and Employment, the words "Ministry of Education and
Employment" shall be substituted by the words "Ministry for
Education and Employment"; and
(c)
in the second column of the Table regarding the
Contracting Authorities falling within the competence of the
Department of Contracts relating to the Ministry for Education
and Employment, as amended, there shall be added the words
"Malta Council for Science and Technology".
