JUDGES AND MAGISTRATES (SALARIES) ACT

Judges and Magistrates (Revision of Salaries) Order, 2013

IN exercise of the powers conferred by articles 2 and 3 of the

Judges and Magistrates (Salaries) Act, hereinafter referred to as "the

Act", the Prime Minister has made the following order:-

( 1 ) The title of this order is the Judges and

Magistrates (Revision of Salaries) Order, 2013.

(2) This order shall be deemed to have come into force on the

1st January, 2013.

There shall be paid to the holders of the offices specified in

the first column of the Schedule hereto, instead of the salaries

prescribed in articles 2 and 3 of the Act, the annual salaries

respectively specified for each office in the second column of this

Schedule.
