BURIALS ORDINANCE

(CAP. 17)

(Amendment) Order, 2013

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 3 of the Burials

Ordinance, the Minister of Health, the Elderly and Community Care,

with the concurrence of the Minister of Finance, the Economy and

Investment, has made the following Order:-

The title of this Order is the Price Payable for the

Acquisition of Graves and Grave Sites (Amendment) Order, 2013,

and this Order shall be read and construed as one with the Price

Payable for the Acquisition of Graves and Grave Sites Order,

hereinafter referred to as "the principal Order".

Immediately after article 3 of the principal Order, there

shall be added the following new article

" Payment of

Any person who is informed of his

dues.

entitlement for the acquisition of a grave at

the Santa Marija Cemetery, Xewkija, Gozo,

will be required to pay half the amount due on

the signing of the promise of acquisition, with

the remaining dues to be paid on the signing

of the contract of acquisition.".
