Commencement Notice

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by sub-article (2) of

article 1 of the Mental Health Act, 2012, the Minister for Health has

established -

(a)

the 10th October, 2013, as the date when the

provisions of articles 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7(1), 7(3), 14, 22, 25, 26,

27, 28, 29, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 45, 46 and

47, and the First and Fourteenth Schedules; and

(b)

the 10th October 2014, as the date when the

provisions of articles 7(2), 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 16, 17, 18,

19, 20, 21, 23, 24, 30, 36, 37, 44 and 48, and the Second, Third,

Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, Eighth, Ninth, Tenth, Eleventh,

Twelfth, Thirteenth and Fifteenth Schedules,

of the said Mental Health Act, 2012, shall come into force.
