Commencement Notice of Processing of Personal Data
(Electronic Communications Sector) (Amendment)
Regulations, 2011
IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 54(m) of the Data
Protection Act, and in terms of sub-regulation (2) of regulation 1 of
the Processing of Personal Data (Electronic Communications Sector)
(Amendment) Regulations, 2011, the Minister for Justice, Dialogue
and the Family, after consultation with the Information and Data
Protection Commissioner, has established the 1st January 2013, as the
date when all the provisions of the said regulations shall come into
force.
