Type Approval of Agricultural or Forestry Tractors
(Amendment No. 2) Regulations, 2013
IN exercise of the powers conferred by articles 38, 39 and 40 of
the Product Safety Act, the Minister for Social Dialogue, Consumer
Affairs and Civil Liberties, on the advice of the Malta Competition
and Consumer Affairs Authority, has made the following
regulations:-
(1) The title of these regulations is the Type Approval of Citation, scope
Agricultural or Forestry Tractors (Amendment No. 2) Regulations, and
commencement.
2013 and these regulations shall be read and construed as one with the
Type Approval Agricultural or Forestry Tractors Regulations, S.L. 427.59
hereinafter referred to as "the principal regulations".
(2) These regulations implement the requirements of Directive
2013/15/EU adapting certain directives in the field of free movement
of goods, by reason of the accession of Croatia.
(3) These regulations shall be deemed to have come into force
on the 1st July 2013.
In Schedule II, Chapter C, Appendix 1, item 1 - first Amends
Schedule II to
subparagraph there shall be added the following
