PRODUCT SAFETY ACT

(CAP. 427)

Shoes and Footwear (Amendment) Order, 2013

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 39 of the Product

Safety Act, the Minister for Social Dialogue, Consumer Affairs and

Civil Liberties, on the advice of the Malta Competition and Consumer

Affairs Authority, has made the following order

(1) The title of this Order is the Shoes and Footwear Citation and

(Amendment) Order, 2013, and this Order shall be read and construed scope.

as one with the Shoes and Footwear Order, hereinafter referred to as S.L. 427.20

"the principal order".

(2) This Order implements the provisions of Point B under the

Free Movement of Goods in the Annex of Council Directive 2013/15/

EU adapting certain directives in the field of free movement of goods,

by reason of the accession of Croatia.

In the First Schedule to the principal order there shall be Amends the

First Schedule

added the following to the column "Written indications"
