Fees (Tourism) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations, 2013

IN exercise of the powers conferred by articles 7(3) and 47 of

the Malta Travel and Tourism Services Act, the Minister for Tourism,

after consultation with the Minister for Finance and acting on the

recommendation of the Malta Tourism Authority, has made the

following regulations:-

(1)

The title of these regulations is the Fees (Tourism) Citation and

(Amendment No. 2) Regulations, 2013, and these regulations shall be commencement.

read and construed as one with the Fees (Tourism) Regulations, S.L. 504.14

hereinafter referred to as "the principal regulations".

(2) These regulations shall be deemed to have come into force

on the 1st January, 2013.

In regulation 3 of the principal regulations, for the words Amends

"as specified in the First Schedule." there shall be substituted the regulation

the principal

words "as specified in the First Schedule:", and immediately regulations.

thereafter there shall be added the following new proviso

"Provided that on the issue or renewal of a licence to run or

operate an accommodation or catering establishment in Gozo,

the licensee shall pay seventy-five percent of the licences fees

as specified in Parts I, II, III, IV and VI of the First Schedule.".

For Parts I, II, III, IV, V and VI of the First Schedule to the Amends the

principal regulations, there shall be substituted the following new First

to the principal

Parts I, II, III, IV, V and VI respectively
