Housing Authority (Transfer of Assets) (No. 2) Order, 2013

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 12 of the

Housing Authority Act, the President of Malta has made the

following order:-

The title of this order is the Housing Authority (Transfer

of Assets) (No. 2) Order, 2013.

The property described in article 4 of this order is hereby

specified for the purpose of article 12 of the Housing Authority

Act.

The property specified in article 2 of this order shall be Appointed day.

transferred and vest in the Housing Authority as provided in the

aforesaid article with effect from the 1st of March, 2013.

The property referred to in article 2 of this order is the Description

following, that is to say

(1) Four plots of land at tad-Dib Housing Estate in

Mosta, as follows:-

(a) a plot of land, known as Site A, consisting of Plots

39 to 44 and Plots 51 to 57, having an area of approximately

2, 229.5 square metres and is bounded on the North by Triq

S. Fiteni, on the South by Triq il-Familja Cumbo and on the

West by plots 45 to 50 allocated through the Home Ownership

Scheme. Plots 39 to 44 are registered with the Government

as Tenements X05846 to X05491 and Plots 51 to 57 are

registered with the Government as Tenements X05498 to

X05506 and this site is shown edged in red and marked “A”

on plan P.D. 2012_700_1;

(b) a plot of land, known as Site B, consisting of Plots

61 to 63, Plot 64, Plots 65 to 71 and Plots 78 to 81, having an

area of approximately 3, 065.25 square metres and is bounded

on the North by Triq il-Familja Cumbo, on the West by Triq

il-Balluta and on the East by Triq ta’ Vnezja. Plots 61 to 63

are registered with the Government as Tenements X05508 to

X05510, Plot 64 is registered as Tenements X53393, X53394

and X53583, Plots 65 to 71 are registered as Tenements

X05512 to X05518 and Plots 78 to 81 are registered with

the Government as Tenements X05525 to X05528 and this

site is shown edged in red and marked “B” on plan P.D.

(c) a plot of land, known as Site C, consisting of Plots

82 to 86 and Plots 97 to 98, having an area of approximately

1, 279.5 square metres and is bounded on the North by Triq

il-Bdoti, on the South by property of the Housing Authority or

its successors in title and on the West by Triq ta’ Vnezja. Plots

82 to 86 are registered with the Government as Tenements

X05529 to X05533 and Plots 97 and 98 are registered with

the Government as Tenements X05544 and X05545 and

this site is shown edged in red and marked “C” on plan P.D.

(d) a plot of land, known as Site D, consisting of Plot

90, having an area of approximately 330.75 square metres

and is bounded on the East by Triq il-Mitħna, on the West by

property of the Housing Authority or its successors in title and

on the South by Triq Alofju Wignacourt. Plot 90 is registered

with the Government as Tenement X05537 and is shown

edged in red and marked “D” on plan P.D. 2012_700_1.

All four sites were acquired by the Government by

President’s Declaration No. 815 dated the 30th of July, 2012 and

by President’s Declaration No. 33 dated the 17th of January, 2013.

(2) Five plots of land at Mqabba, as follows:-

(a) a plot of land, known as Site A, consisting of

Plots 12, and 14 to 19, having an area of approximately 1,

451 square metres and is bounded on the North by Triq Dun

Gerald Mangion, on the East by Triq Nikol Zammit and in

part by property of the Housing Authority or its successors in

title. This site is shown edged in red and marked “A” on plan

P.D. 89_86_9;

(b) a plot of land, known as Site B, consisting of Plots

20 to 33, and 38 to 46, having an area of approximately 4,

403.6 square metres and is bounded on the South-West by

Triq il-Katakombi and on the South and South-East by Triq

Dun Geraldu Mangion. This site is shown edged in red and

marked “B” on plan P.D. 89_86_9;

(c) a plot of land, known as Site C, consisting

of Plots 47 to 51, 53 to 63 and 66 to 70, having an area of

approximately 4, 331.5 square metres and is bounded on the

North-West by Triq Dun Geraldu Mangion, on the East by

Triq in-Nazzarenu and in part by property of the Housing

Authority or its successors in title and on the West in part

by Triq Dun Nikol Zammit and in part by property of the

Housing Authority or its successors in title. This site is shown

edged in red and marked “C” on plan P.D. 89_86_9;

(d) a plot of land, known as Site D, consisting of Plots

97 to 99, having an area of approximately 576. 97 square

metres and is bounded on the North-West by Triq Dun Anglu

Mallia, on the West by Triq in-Nazzarenu and on the North-

East by Triq il-Hajt tal-Matla. This site is shown edged in red

and marked “D” on plan P.D. 89_86_9;

(e) a plot of land, known as Site E, consisting of Plots

106 to 114, having an area of approximately 1, 631. 26 square

metres and is bounded on the North-West by Triq Filippo

Venuti, on the South-West by Triq in-Nazzarenu and on the

South-East by Triq Dun Anglu Mallia. This site is shown

edged in red and marked “E” on plan P.D. 89_86_9.

These sites are Government property acquired by Deed

No. 194/83 dated the 7th of December, 1983, Deed No. 57/89 dated

the 29th of March, 1989 in the acts of Notary V. Miceli, Deed No.

85/88 dated the 6th of April, 1988 in the acts of Notary V. Miceli,

Deed No. 220/97 dated the 10th of December, 1997 in the acts of

Notary V. Miceli, Deed No. 423/84 dated the 8th of August, 1984

in the acts of Notary F. Portelli, Deed No. 357/84 dated the 23rd of

May, 1984 in the acts of Notary F. Portelli, President’s Declaration

No. 614 dated the 6th of June, 2012, President’s Declaration No.

77 dated the 30th of January, 2012 and Government land formerly

registered as Tenement No. 50928. (HAM 80/81).

(3) House numbered 1, Trejqet il-Ġiżimin, Santa

Luċija (Tenement No. 64320 - HA 141/99).

(4) House numbered 4, Trejqet il-Ġiżimin, Santa

Luċija (Tenement No. 64323 - HA 111/99).

(5) House numbered 10, Triq il-Kamelja, Santa Luċija

(Tenement No. 64319 – HA 305/99).
