Conservation of Wild Birds (Framework for Allowing a
Derogation Opening a Spring Hunting Season for
Turtle Dove and Quail) (Amendment) Regulations, 2013
BY VIRTUE of the powers conferred by articles 61 and 62 of
the Environment and Development Planning Act, and in terms of the
provisions of regulation 10(6)(t) of the Conservation of Wild Birds’
Regulations, the Minister for Sustainable Development, the
Environment and Climate Change has made the following
regulations:-
The title of these regulations is the Conservation of Wild Citation.
Birds (Framework for Allowing a Derogation Opening a Spring
Hunting Season for Turtle Dove and Quail) (Amendment)
Regulations, 2013, and these regulations shall be read and construed
as one with the Conservation of Wild Birds (Framework for Allowing S.L. 504.94
a Derogation Opening a Spring Hunting Season for Turtle Dove and
Quail) Regulations, hereinafter referred to as the "principal
regulations".
Regulation 4 of the principal regulations shall be amended Amends
regulation 4 of
as follows
the principal
regulations.
(a)
sub-regulation (2) thereof shall be deleted; and
(b)
sub-regulations (3) and (4) thereof shall be re-
numbered as sub-regulations (2) and (3) respectively.
Regulation 5 of the principal regulations shall be amended Amends
regulation 5 of
as follows
the principal
regulations.
(a)
the figure "(1)" immediately before the words
"Every Spring Hunting Licence shall:" in the first paragraph
thereof shall be deleted; and
(b)
in paragraph (c) thereof, the words "to wear an
identification armband bearing the licence number and" shall be
deleted.
Regulation 6 of the principal regulations shall be amended
as follows
(a)
in the first paragraph thereof, immediately before
the words "For the time when a spring hunting season is open",
there shall be added the figure "(1)";
(b)
in paragraph (b) of sub-regulation (1) thereof, as
re-numbered, the words "always wear their identification
armband and" shall be deleted; and
(c)
in sub-regulation (2) thereof, the words "the
identification armband," shall be deleted.
