Aviation Security (Background Checks)

(Amendment) Regulations, 2013

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 3 of the Airports

and Civil Aviation (Security) Act, the Prime Minister has made the

following regulations:-

The title of these regulations is the Aviation Security

(Background Checks) (Amendment) Regulations, 2013, and they

shall be read and construed as one with the Aviation Security

(Background Checks) Regulations, hereinafter referred to as "the

principal regulations".

The Maltese version of sub-regulation (3) of regulation 8

of the principal regulations shall be substituted the following

"(3) Jekk, mill-informazzjoni mogħtija lill-Manager

jirriżulta li l-applikant ġie misjub ħati ta’ reat elenkat fit-Tieni

Skeda, iżda li l-piena preskritta ma kinitx tinkludi perjodu ta’

priġunerija, security pass jista’ jinħareġ jew jerġa’ jingħata lura,

skont kif ikun il-każ, mid-data tas-sentenza finali li jkollha

x’taqsam ma’ dik is-sejba ta’ ħtija.".
