Civil Code (Amendment) Order, 2012

Commencement Notice

IN exercise of the powers conferred by sub-article (2) of article

1 of the Civil Code (Amendment) Order, 2012, the Prime Minister has

established the 1st January, 2013 as the date when the provisions of

the said Order shall come into force, except articles 2 and 4 of the

said order. The mentioned articles 2 and 4 shall come into force on

such date as the Prime Minister may, by notice in the Gazette,

establish.
