Immigration (Amendment) Regulations, 2012

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 4(2) of the

European Union Act, the Prime Minister has made the following

regulations: -

(1) The title of these regulations is the Immigration

(Amendment) Regulations, 2012, and these regulations shall be

read and construed as one with the Immigration Regulations,

hereinafter referred to as the "principal regulations" .

(2) These regulations shall come into force on such date as the

Prime Minister may, by notice in the Gazette appoint, and different

dates may be so appointed for different purposes and for different

provisions of these regulations.

In regulation 6(12) of the principal regulations for the

words "without prejudicing such right:" there shall be substituted the

words "without prejudicing such right.", and the proviso thereof shall

be deleted.

Regulation 18 of the principal regulations shall be deleted.
