Maritime Pilotage Regulations (Amendment) Regulations, 2012

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 43(3) of the

Authority for Transport in Malta Act, the Minister responsible for

Transport, Infrastructure and Communications, in consultation with

the Authority for Transport in Malta, has made the following

regulations:-

The title of these regulations is Maritime Pilotage

Regulations (Amendment) Regulations, 2012 and they shall be read

and construed as one with the Maritime Pilotage Regulations,

hereinafter referred to as "the principal regulations".

Regulation 34(2) of the principal regulations shall be

substituted by the following

"(2)

The social security contributions payable by an

employed person and an employer in accordance with the

provisions of the Social Security Act shall be deemed to form

part of the tariff.".
