Conservation of Wild Birds (Declaration of the periods for
Hunting in Autumn - Winter 2012 - 2013)
(Amendment) Regulations, 2012
BY VIRTUE of the powers conferred by article 61 of the
Environment and Development Planning Act, and in terms of the
provisions of regulation 10(6)(t) of the Conservation of Wild Birds’
Regulations, the Minister for Tourism, Culture and the Environment
has made the following regulations:-
The title of these regulations is the Conservation of Wild
Birds (Declaration of the periods for Hunting in Autumn - Winter
2012 - 2013) (Amendment) Regulations, 2012, and these regulations
shall be read and construed as one with the Conservation of Wild
Birds (Declaration of the periods for Hunting in Autumn - Winter
2012 - 2013) Regulations, hereinafter referred to as "the principal
regulations".
Regulation 1 of the principal regulations shall be
substituted by the following new regulation
"1.
The title of these regulations is the Conservation of
Wild Birds (Declaration of the periods for Hunting in Autumn -
Winter 2012 - 2013) Regulations, 2012.".
In regulation 3 of the principal regulations, for the text
starting with the words "For the purposes of establishing the period"
to the words "has established the following dates:", there shall be
substituted the words "For the purposes of establishing the period for
the hunting of wild birds under regulation 10(6)(t)(i) of the Wild
Birds Regulations, the Minister for Tourism, Culture and the
Environment has established the following dates:".
Immediately after regulation 3 of the principal regulations,
there shall be added the following new regulation
" Shooting of

shall be as established in the proviso to
paragraph (a) of regulation 3.".
