ENVIRONMENT AND DEVELOPMENT PLANNING ACT

(CAP. 504)

Development Planning (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations, 2012

BY VIRTUE of the powers conferred by articles 60, 61,

79 and 80 of the Environment and Development Planning Act, the

Minister for Tourism, Culture and the Environment, and the Malta

Environment and Planning Authority, with the concurrence of the

Minister of Finance, the Economy and Investment, have made the

following regulations:-

Reg. 1 Title. — 268 tal-2012 – Regolamenti tal-2012 li Jemendaw ir-Regolamenti dwar Ħlasijiet tal-Ippjanar tal-Iżvilupp Open official source

The title of these regulations is the Development

Planning (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations, 2012, and they shall

be read and construed as one with the Development Planning

(Fees) Regulations, 2010, hereinafter referred to as “the principal

regulations”.

Reg. 2 Adds new regulation to the principal regulations. — 268 tal-2012 – Regolamenti tal-2012 li Jemendaw ir-Regolamenti dwar Ħlasijiet tal-Ippjanar tal-Iżvilupp Open official source

Immediately after regulation 4 of the principal

regulations, there shall be added the following new regulation:-

5 (1) A fee of two hundred and fifty euro (€ 250)

shall accompany each request made to the Authority under the

provisions of Category B of the Eighth Schedule of the Act of

article 91 of the same act.

(2) Each request made to the Authority under the

provisions of articles 91 or 92 of the act shall only be made in

respect of one residential unit.”.
