OMBUDSMAN (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2010

(ACT NO. XVII OF 2010)

Commencement Notice

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 1(2) of the

Ombudsman (Amendment) Act, 2010, the Prime Minister has

established the following dates of commencement

(a)

1st August, 2012 as the date when all the

provisions of the said Act excluding article 4 shall come into

force; and

(b)

1st November, 2013 as the date when article 4 of

the said Act shall come into force.
