Issue and Validity of Identity Cards (Amendment)

Regulations, 2012

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 13 of the Identity

Card Act, the Prime Minister has made the following regulations:-

The title of these regulations is the Issue and Validity of

Identity Cards (Amendment) Regulations, 2012 and they shall be read

and construed as one with the Issue and Validity of Identity Cards

Regulations hereinafter referred to as "the principal regulations".

The words "these shall remain valid until the 28th of June

2012" in the proviso to regulation 3(1) of the principal regulations

shall be substituted by words "these shall remain valid until the 31st

December 2012".
