Processing of Personal Data (Police and Judicial Cooperation

in Criminal Matters) Regulations, 2011

Commencement Notice

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by articles 5 and 54(m)

of the Data Protection Act, and in terms of regulation 1(2) of the

Processing of Personal Data (Police and Judicial Cooperation in

Criminal Matters) Regulations, 2011, as published by Legal Notice

198 of 2011, the Minister for Justice, Dialogue and the Family, after

consultation with the Information and Data Protection Commissioner,

has established the 8th of June, 2012, as the date when all the

provisions of these said regulations shall come into force
