Commencement Notice of regulations 5, 8, 12, 13 and 14 of the

European Community Greenhouse Gas Emissions Trading

Scheme for Aviation Regulations, 2010

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 61 of the

Environment and Development Planning Act and by sub-article (1) of

article 28 of the Malta Resources Authority Act, and in terms of sub-

regulation (3) of regulation 1 of the European Community

Greenhouse Gas Emissions Trading Scheme for Aviation

Regulations, 2010, the Minister for Tourism, Culture and the

Environment and the Minister for Resources and Rural have

established the 2nd January 2012 as the date when regulations 5, 8,

12, 13 and 14 of the said regulations shall be deemed to have come

into force.
