Appointments and Conditions of Service of the Regular Force

Regulations (Amendment) Regulations, 2012

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 4 of the Malta

Armed Forces Act, the President of Malta, has made the following

regulations: -

The title of these regulations is the Appointments and

Conditions of Service of the Regular Force Regulations

(Amendment) Regulations, 2012 and they shall be read and construed

as one with the Appointments and Conditions of Service of the

Regular Force Regulations, hereinafter referred to as "the principal

regulations".

Point B of sub-regulation (1) of regulation 6 of the

principal regulations shall be amended as follows

(a) in sub-paragraph (i) thereof for the words "(i) Captain

(Medical Officer)" there shall be substituted the words

"(i) Lieutenant (Medical Officer)

Captain (Medical Officer)";

(b)

sub-paragraphs (ii) and (iii) thereof shall be

renumbered as (iii) and (iv) respectively; and

(c)

immediately after sub-paragraph (i) thereof there

shall be added the following new sub-paragraph (ii)

"(ii) Lieutenant (Legal Officer)

Captain (Legal Officer)

Major (Legal Officer)

Lieutenant-Colonel (Legal Officer);".
